| Thank you to everyone who has joined PowerSellersUnite (PSU) |
PSU was “born” when eBay implemented rate increases that significantly impacted sellers large & small. The fee hikes affect buyers also, as most sellers have no choice but to pass on the eBay fees to buyers. Our focus has now shifted away from the eBay boycott in early 2005 to helping sellers, and buyers, find the best alternative auction site(s) for their needs.
PSU is a fast- growing group of online members – seasoned and new – with common goals. We enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment where all facets of e-Commerce are discussed and debated.
PSU offers site navigation tools, free auction tools, and multiple search options right from the home page!
Our discussions include web site design to best alternative auction sites. If your area of question/interest is not found, ask and you will receive!
Take a minute and join one of the fastest growing online e-Commerce communities!
If you have any news, information, or updates you want to share please contact us
Be sure to submit a link to your online store on our Users Storefronts so others can browse your store. If you do not have your own store yet we provide PSU Stores so you can have your very own e-commerce web site.
You do NOT need to be a PowerSeller to join this site. EVERYONE is welcome! |
The numbers are down for ebay, the listings are down-the numbers dont lie.Ebay was bracing for this week, and tried to head it off by the .20Cent listings, but they most likely dont think it would be extended. Ebay has lost 3 million listings this week! If ebay makes $1 per listing on average, then guess what, thats $3 million they lost.Any company,no matter how big, will feel a $3 million loss,so lets keep the pressure on.Who is in???

I think it is worldwide, every sellers has issues with ebay and paypal as well as other sites related to them like kijiji classifieds, any ebay company has issues, we should boycott them all and show them who has control, without buyers and sellers, they are just a shell.

Hi
Is this boycott just US orientated?
I've just discovered this site after becoming disillusioned with eBay and PayPals policies. Going by the eBay forums there are a lot of discontented UK sellers out there. I would be willing to boycott eBay and PayPal if I could find good alternatives.

Ebay gave us the tools, I'm so tired of the moronic chatter. Over the past 5 years you fools have been boycotting, has it ever worked?
You are nuts is all I can say.
Ebay has given us the power to spank those who cross the picket line.
When you boycott you just open up the door for those who cross, to make even more money, thus encouraging them further to not honor and actions taken to get ebay to listen.
As ebay has it set up, I can bid on 10 of the same items, the post negotiate with them to get an even better deal, then neg the other nine who won't negotiate. How the HELL is that fair?
You people better wake up is all I can say. You have the best tool handed to you by ebay, and are letting the ones who cross the picket line dictate your fate.
You can fall for their bullying if you wish. I won't. It ain't against the law when the winner makes the rules, and my fellow people, ebay is winning. |
You must be kidding? LOL! When was the last time you checked out the stock share price? Were you aware that JD only has 2 more quarters left to prove he can fix what he broke, or he's leaving?LOL! I'll be waiting with my bowl of popcorn and my expired paypal card!

WITH THE DROP IN LISTINGS AND SALES-APPEARS BOYCOTT HAS BEEN GOING ON AND WILL CONTINUE. I CLOSED STORE AND ONLY HAVE LISTINGS OF 5 PERCENT OF NORMAL. LOST POWER SELLER STATUS DUE TO SALES - THEY JUST KEPT DROPPING - DROPPING - TO ME EBAY IS NOT REALLY WORTH IT ANYMORE. HANGING AROUND TO SEE IF EVERYONE GETS FIRED AND THE GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS - FUN AND PROFITABLE

People (buyers and sellers) should boycott eBay (FeePay) until they are DEAD, once and for all. Add PayPal to that list as well because they are not your pal.
