In the meantime, we invite you to explore the features of the MoneyExchange site by clicking the continue button below.

Thank you!

This is copy/paste of the error message I get AFTER I provide them with my name, address, social security number, birth date, phone number, etc.

I immediately called the phone number provided in the error message and get the message that my "call could not be completed as dialed." So then since I am calling with my cell phone, I removed the 1 and dialed the rest of the number starting with the 866 and got the same message!

So, these unknown people got enough info on me to impersonate me all because I took a recommendation from someone here to try them out! At least paypal never wanted my birth date and SSN!

Be cautious if you want to deal with this company! What kind of company gives you the wrong/invalid phone number to call them, therefore giving you NO customer support?

mysteriouscutie -

I've called the toll-free # several times and have also spoken with a director level person there. I also have gotten thru each and every time.

1-800-794-9071 - is this the # you dialed?

The "error" page (which I also got) provides the WRONG phone number, with an 866 exchange. The correct # (as found on other pages on their site has an 800 exchange, but be prepared to spend 30 or so minutes on hold before reaching someone. I was not offered the opportunity to speak to a director.....and am still unable to open an account.

I, too, am not very happy about getting the error message ("unable to verify") on my name, address and phone of 12+ years

I certainly hope this is some sort of glitch. Sad
Mine and JB's went through in less than 5 minutes.
We are never excited about giving that
much very personal info either. Hope all comes out
right and please let us ALL know. Confused

I'm not worried about it Lana. For those having the verification issue, did you put in a home ph. # or a mobile #? I just wonder if that may affect the ability to verify.

thehroost - I waited less than 10 mins each time I called. Ouch on the 30 mins....that would 'hurt'... Surprised Surprised

I asked for an escalation. That's how I ended up with someone beyond the first level support. My intent was to 'test' to 'see' if there were actual employees... Embarassed Embarassed

My registration went thru seemlessly and I'm pretty sure I used my cell number as I'm in the process of getting rid of my "land line".

I registered and had no problem. I did use my cell phone as contact number. I did receive their 2 deposits in my checking account today, so I wouldn't think this is a scam at all. You need to contact them again.

I am calling (currently #11) to advise them of the typo in their 'we can't verify you' message. Estimated hold time 27 minutes.

Nevermind for now - battery died on phone - will try again later, unless someone beats me to it.

Thanks 4 the feedback all - I just 'guessed' as mine also went thru seamlessly. I've withdrawn, sent $$, received $$, etc.

P_R_G - The Hold Time might be automatic - I've gotten SLA times also when I've called and they have each time answered sooner than said.

I'm hopeful those having issues get resolution.

Well I just got around to registering & I got my email that said they gave me $25, but I also got an error page that said they were experiencing technical difficulties with the correct 800# on it. It's called 'error-page-new.gif' so I'm guessing they've fixed the bad phone number and I don't need to tell them.

You think we might have Broke the Bank? Twisted Evil

Did you think tht all the new people signing up may have created an overload and is giving false "non verify" errors?

It's possible, Mo, especially if it affects its access to whatever databases it is using. It's also possible the non-verify might be a problem in the address matching part.

Google maps thinks I live on US-36 whereas my bank thinks I live on US HIGHWAY 36 and the P.O. prefers to say I live on US HWY 36. I tried to pay Sprint, which I have had auto-billing for 8 years the same card I tried to use at the same address, for a new phone and they couldn't get it to go through saying it was a bad zip code. The bank showed the charge was approved (though not completed), but whatever company Sprint was using for card verification had a problem. They just put it on my account. The non-verification could be a simple address look-up glitch.

The whole time I've been typing this, RME is still trying to load the log-in page. They do seem to use a LOT of bandwidth for their pages - could contribute to server overload...

I called the # in the error message.

I finally called the 800 number a bit ago after finding it on a different webpage. The CS person told me I'd get another email in 48 hours and have to submit my electric bill and driver's license to them! I don't have a full account with them yet and I'm already having to give them more info! I've been with paypal since they were x.com I believe it was? and never had to provide them info.

How long has this company been around?

Not long mysteriouscutie, they are in beta now, which is probably why they are giving $25 and free processing. Very Happy Very Happy
