A couple of the posters on this forum have actually admitted to receiving the 15% as advertised: myself and cohibastores have both acknowledged it. I'm sure that there are other regulars to this forum who also have received the discount.

hmm, interesting- we only ship priority- so people are whacking us, but in the long run its better - since using priority we've not had to give any unwarranted paypal refunds- thanks for the info though- Smile

Memo
To: VASH. Athletic Supporter Ebay, Inc. WorldSlide
From: The Help Desk @ Tict-ed Off, Inc.
Subject: Reading Comprehension 101

Dear VASH~
That's an odd name.
Rhymes with CASH.
Like in Vasharon Constantine only different.
Are you in India?

>Thank you for writing to eBay in regard to the transaction you had with anta-leda.

Vash olde boy (or if you're female then pretend this is written in PINK ink),

Had no choice: we're getting worked-over by a buyer who wants to squirrel her way out of our transaction. We don't think that's right and according to ebray rules, ''A deal's a deal.'' You might want to study up on some of the broader points of Contract Law 101. The sharper point is likely atop your head. Piercing the tin foil.

You can double-check us on that contract stuff: see more at your own CONFIRM YOUR BID page with the grey button on the lower left~ the page that bounces up and down because the Paypal BETTER BUY WITH US green notice loads kinda clunky and reminds us of target practice or champagne bubbles. Which reminds us we're thirsty.

While we're at it: in the spirit of full disclosure your IT guys should add to the green PP text that PesoPal(we love that) charges a seller 3%. There is no Santa Clause: PP ain't FREE!! for the buyer. Ebay has been lying about that long enough. Even a simpleton such as yourself knows better.

Additionally since ebay is able to alert! a buyer before they leave Feedback that a Negative is half- dandy too (we're going to skip over the DSR discussion because we've already assigned those letters new names and none of them are pretty) we here at this Help Desk have every confidence that you will carry the ball forward. After dropping it several times.

We realize that ebay is probably having yet another off day. At least that's the way to bet. The ProStores people are all afire since everything went Kerflooie! POOF! 18 hours ago. We hate white screen screaming in the morning. Actually, any time. N.B. We'd not answer any of the ProStore sellers' emails if we were you(we're glad we're not) . While those emails normally are otherwise routed , around ebay life is a carousel with a malfunctioning calliope, so it's highly possible that a lead ring email might land on your desk. If you do open one we'd expect you to find a cigar.
One that explodes.

>In this case, I would recommend trying to resolve the issue with the
buyer amicably.

In this case we'd recommend you try REreading our original email complaint. We aren't feeling remotely ''amicable.'' Believe it. BTW do they let you worker bees compose your own letter? Are you allowed only to spit out(excuse the visual but it does fit nicely here) what is written for you? We suspect the latter. We imagine that your next ebay promotion, given your shining decision making skills, will be that of elevator operator.

>However, if you are not able to resolve the issue,

Yay!~ You GOT it. We cannot resolve anything with the Cow. Period. Paragraph.

> I understand your concern that you may receive negative Feedback from a
buyer who doesn't pay for an item.

Oh, No, you don't. Dang~ and you had showed such momentary promise. Yep, it's the Neg that we are worried about. Particularly when it comes from the other side, the Uncontractor, which yields the result=NO Contract. See, VASH, performance is a key ingredient of a contract. Without it ya ain't got nuttin', Honey. A Neg is a great big red button we don't deserve but will receive anyway. Speaking of buttons have you lost yours?

>Please be assured that most members will consider your overall Feedback Score when they decide

IF the decide to wander through to find our items once they are buried in BEST MATCH. Negs sure don't promote an item's placement.

If, if,''IF"": see more at Rudyard Kipling.

>Please also visit the following page for more information ...

Please REvisit our email and then jam ( like ebay, we specialize in the personal touch) all links into your pigeon hole. That may take some extra work. Said pigeon hole is also where you'll soon locate your own PINK when ebay cuts the tugs on your job and you are set adrift.

Bon Voyage! in advance.

Never more sincerely,

Ima Out,
Manager,
Beyond Help Desk, Ticked-Off, Inc.

Surely Vash will be receiving a high-paying promotion soon. He can follow in the footsteps of our last 6 eBay "personal" account managers- who , like in 7-10 days, after becoming our manager received a high promotion through the company and can no longer help us. So they say, in the past 4 years since acquiring said "managers" it seems we've had 10 different ones- and every email states the past one got a promotion. If promotions are so easy to come by, I think I'm on the wrong end here! I sent Vash a lovely little e-mail stating how I felt about his "amicable" resolution. Also, I stated that if the lower score & negative wasn't so detrimental- why bother even having scores. We should let the buyers read our 7000+ feedback and let them make up their own mind- no need to percentage us or DSR us- Since most (the smart ones- which are far and few to come by lately) buyers use our overall feedback- not just what eBay pastes up there in big, bold numbers.

Otherwise, I guess I will ultimately just have to bite the bullet- if they don't pay- I'm still going to leave a strike- negative be damned! I will not leave them any feedback- since leaving a scathing feedback reply for them does nothing more than boost their score .

Oxi-moron in itself-If you decided to put that in feedback- so other sellers can see th etype of dead-beat this buyer is, your just screwing yourself again! You leave a feedback reply for this a**hole & your complaint can boost their feedback score.. the insanity!!!

"Members can review the comments that you've received and left for
others, including any replies or follow-up comments, to determine what
actually happened during a transaction."

What this is basically saying is that eBay understands that some buyers are pissing little bullies that tell lies and harm reputable sellers.

It also states that they think that is ok and will do nothing about it.
They suggest that potential buyers do RESEARCH to find out that the pissy little bullies are lying.

eBay does nothing to protect a seller against libelous statements and harm to business... and then suggests that if potential buyers are so excited about your gizmo that they will do extensive research... maybe contact clergy or philosophers... sleep on it and decide if the defamatory comments are real or not. All the while eBay is ranking your listings lower in search and charging you more than some "preferred sellers".

eBay suggests this is ok and that their goal is to improve the market place.

eBay is the biggest liar of all and certainly the most deserving of negative feedback.

True example.... I had a buyer the other day that used to have a perfect record of 100 but because they are only occasional users and haven't bought anything in a year they now have a rating of ZERO. This program is crucifying the occasional buyers and sellers.

Well, ya see, "occasional" just don't rake in the dough for the Bay! [sarcasm] I bet that buyer is just jim-dandy pleased with their eBay experience. [/sarcasm]

moderndesignworks

Your continued and repetitive posting of the same message is starting to work contrary to your objectives -- it's turning people off.

Why don't you start a thread introducing and explaining your site and quite spamming every thread with your off topic advertisement.
