Hello, my name is Mark Dorsey and I represent a start up out of Kirkland Washington that is a viable option to eBay and Craigslist. We just launched on June 1st, 2008 and are actively recruiting sellers and buyers. Bonanzle is a newly launched online marketplace that aims to take what's best about Craigslist and eBay, and build on those to create something that startles and delights its users.

Mark good luck with your site. I must say on quick glance, I'm impressed. Especially with the wonderful pictures that even I can see, LOL Wow, nice. I'll be back to check further, looks interesting.

I'm not happy. It is only for the USA.

If it limits itself to only U.S. buyers I
wont be using it either.

These days especially, it is the foreign
buyers who keep me in the black. A
site that doesn't welcome customers
who are outside the United States is
limiting themselves and me as well.

What fantastic feedback so far, thank you to everyone who has posted. Right now I do not have an answer for the international scene but be assured that we want to spread Bonanzle.com to all those who are interested. We are very excited about our site and we want to reach out to as many people as possible.

Hello Mark, I was checking out your site and went to local search. 0 items in my area. I went to increase the miles search from 50 to 150 and there was a search page error area under that where the Search button should have been. Just a heads up! Nice site and great idea.

Can a person living outside of the USA register and buy/sell ??
If not, why?? You Need Int'l. users, it is a must.

I am so happy this was the easiest site that I have ever listed on. I set up & posted 4 items in record time & will be adding more over the next few days. Spectacular & fun....just what many of us have been looking for. Same user ID. Imported feedback, a class act with immediate views all while I am multi-tasking. Thanks !!!!!

I agree with viewit and all other posts regarding international users. Within 1-2 months (around October 1st) we will have the technology built into Bonanzle to accept international buyers and sellers.

The one thing I found immediately upon attempting to list is that you offer only two options for payment ~ cash or PayPal. I don't want to accept PP as I refuse to support Frigbay, would prefer GoogleCart, and cash via mail is not safe for either the buyer or seller. I would like to see GC added and check/money order as well. Because of this, I've stopped my listing attempt for now.
My other question is, how many booths are you allowed? Since I sell 3 etirely different items, and I don't combine them anywhere, that is important to me.

Thank you for your comments! We are currently working on GoogleCart and should have a solution soon. Additionally because the transactions are between the buyer and seller, you can accept checks and money orders or whichever form of payment works for you (until we can get GoogleCart going).

With your scenario, wanting to have three different booths is fine but you will have to change your booth name (of course) for each of these.
