Englishlord, do you know that you have posted here on PSU about OLA, ONLY? You have made mention of absolutely nothing else since joining almost 2 months ago. Do you think perhaps it's time to... join other discussions? Contribute advice about other topics? Be a part of the community?

Look, this is a 3 party bar brawl. It's cheerleaders versus adamant haters versus those poor users (like me) caught in between. The more you talk, the more the cheerleaders rebut, and so on... all this does is add to a pointless round of "I'll have the last word... no I'LL have the last word..." types of discussions.

Constructive criticism is crucial. For example: I am not thrilled with some elements of eBid... I would like to see the ninjalister makes its long-awaited debut, and I would like them to be a bit more upfront about costs... How do I voice my concerns? When ever someone posts asking for more info about eBid, or even just any question about eBid, I mention my minor issues. I don't spam the boards every day making sure my list of woes are the first thing any user sees. That's rude, AND unproductive.

OLA detractors have been doing nothing lately other than starting new threads endlessly, and/or dredging up old threads...doggedly pursuing any user who has had a positive experience with OLA and launching into attacks... thereby causing them to attack back. And then users, like me, get caught in the middle, and some may get disgusted with PSU altogether.

People do not like to be badgered, and they don't like being verbally beaten into submission, and this is what OLA detractors are doing consistently. You all got Metzymom so wound up she couldn't even tell friend from foe anymore! She retracted her mistaken assertions once she was able to calm down and figure out what's what, thankfully. But that's not always going to be the case.

MANY of your have had bad experiences with OLA... you want your money back... OLA is not what they claim, etc. etc. etc. Got it. And if someone posts a question asking about OLA, feel FREE to mention your personal experiences about them as a cautionary tale.

What others, like me, are asking is that you not endlessly repeat your stories of misery, over and over and over again, with new threads, new posts to ancient threads, etc.

As far as IDs and such, you are buyer111us, Englishlord. So, enough already... what I would like to see from you, though, now is some more input about OTHER aspects of ecommerce. Surely you have other experiences at other venues that could be shared, yes?

Englishlord, when I first "met" him, a couple weeks ago, was claiming to the OLA folks, and implying here, that he had been "sent" to evaluate the site for some website or other. Now he is saying he has done extensive research on OLA's SEO and has "helped sellers" with reports on their stores - something buyer111us is known to have done for a price and with dubious results. If one starts dealing in facts instead of personalities, often the light will reveal things lurking in the shadows.

I have learned to be skeptical of unknown posters with a single agenda. If they have only one tune to sing, then I, personally, give about as much weight to their song as I do to a door-to-door-salesman or a telemarketer. Far less weight than I give to the opinions and stated experiences of someone with several interests, problems, helpful suggestions and points of view; and far, far less than those who provide "identification" as well. That skepticism has been applied to others than Englishlord, as well.

I also wonder how much the kind of interaction we have witnessed here has contributed to the dissatisfaction of some OLA users turning into a war. How much perceived fact is based on repeated rumor and manipulation and how much is based on independently verifiable substance? I also wonder if "rabid" OLA supporters might actually be "rabid" on purpose just to have this effect as well. After all, the majority of the complaints I see about OLA are based on what happens in the chat rooms and not what happens in the store.

PRG - you've raised something I've wondered 4 so long. Does the passion of those who despise a site affect the energy level of those who are finding success or like a site? I'd say Yes, most definitely.

I will take your advice batman3777 and do that and remove myself from this thread and go onto more venue's here on PSU. For you Angelsong my love please try not to get worked into a lather, after all is your health worth it so much that your blood pressure has hit new heights worrying about who is who. So to the rest of you ladies who have devoted so much of your time and energy to this thread and all the topics, good day.
