Hey FMG:

PROVE that you and your "friend" made that much through WP product sales on WP. I double dare ya.

I suppose the hundreds of sellers who blew the pop stand saying their sales sucked and the owner was a dictator, and then went on to fame and fortune through their owner endeavors and sites elsewhere just didn't "know better." NOT!

Actually, I'm pretty sure neither Designer Bargains
nor myself really care what you *say* were your sales
as I'm sure nothing will be backed up with proof or facts.
Since WP conveniently lacks any way of researching the
sales history of any seller, there's no way for a prudent
potential vendor to gauge what the real story there is.

Which means they'll just have to go by the abundant
testimonials from several hundred former WP users who
can attest to the fact the site is a complete and utter
waste of time, energy, and money.

Luckily, from the increasingly scant number of inquires
or WP related posts on PSU of late, it would seem that
the message about WP has gotten through.

But just in case some newbie shows up asking, we'll
keep spreading the word......

She does not care what the actual sales are. She cares only about putting the most negative spin possible on the site. I will show you what items I sold yesterday. I do not require proof of my friends' sales. I know they sold what they say they sold as have I.

Proves nothing. One listing shows item NOT purchased and the other (what appears to be an identical item) shows purchased but no date of purchase. And, since WP does not show buyer ID's (or partial ID's) in a transaction, or any other way of researching sales history (as Gael says) there is no way of confirmation anything. For all we know, you could have just "faked" a transaction by purchasing the item yourself so we can link to it in your post and presume it's a sale.

So, who's word should one take? That of a a couple cheerleaders who "claim" sales or that of a thousand or so X-poppers (many of whom are members of PSU) who testify it's all smoke and mirrors with a little man behind a curtain?

Here is feedback left for the buyer of said items. It displays incorrectly on one showing the buyer as seller but it is there.

Continuously denying that sellers could have sold what they sold shows extreme ignorance and bias.

No, just a keen sense of the obvious. I never said you didn't have sales -- just no EVIDENCE of them.

And how curious that you rushed to give this "buyer" feedback within seconds of reading my post -- and on an item that was supposedly just purchased. And wouldn't you know, this "buyer" has only been registered 4 days and has no other purchasing history.

My goodness. Aren't you brave leaving positive feedback for a brand new "buyer" on an item that supposedly he/she has yet to receive.

Personally, I would have picked links to items and feedback for completed transactions on established buyers. Better yet, I probably would have picked links to closed transactions with repeat buyers. That might have made my claim to glory more credible. But, like you say, I just don't "know better." Neither, apparently, did the thousand or so X-WP sellers who wouldn't recommend this site to Jack the Ripper.

But, as Gael and other extremely successful e-tailers have said, even if they had any success at all on WP, it wouldn't compensate for all the other (non-fixable) issues inherent with the site and its management.

I gave the buyer feedback when they paid as I do for all buyers. I don't have many "established" buyers since almost all of my buyers register on Wagglepop shortly before making their purchases. I do not have many repeat buyers. Just how many sets of floor mats or ghillie suits do you think each buyer needs? I can think of one repeat buyer who was so pleased with his item and my service that he returned for another.

How odd, then, that none of your buyers leave feedback for you.

Not the least bit odd. This is the norm for several sites which you would know if you had a thriving business off ebay. Try selling on Amazon and see how much feedback your buyers leave for you. Try selling on your own website and see how much feedback your buyers leave for you.

Isn't it funny how this is the "norm" only
on WP? Across several alternate venues I
haven't any problem with feedback being
left for transactions by buyers.

Just must be one of those WP problems that
are so commonly cited (among the MANY
problems with that site).

I'm not a fan of WP by any stretch but I can attest to the lack of FB left by buyers at alternative venues. With about 100 separate transactions at Atomic Mall I have left feedback for everyone and gotten just 3 or 4 in return....

I didnt realize they made Chia Pet suits...I think I'm gonna get me some of those and list on AM when time allows...they're pretty cool...

It isn't the "norm" only on WP. For me it has been the "norm" on WP, Amazon, Atomic Mall, eCrater, and HiBidder.

As I recall, when you were on WP, you were concerned about the lack of buyer feedback and DID ask your buyers to leave feedback which is why you got a somewhat higher percentage of feedback left than those of us who do not mention feedback to buyers. You were also concerned that your lack of buyer feedback on Tazbar was affecting sales, and that is why you made a special offer for PSU members to buy your items at a discount on Tazbar to boost your feedback rating. I bought something like three items from you to assist with your feedback rating on Tazbar. To the best of my knowledge, you've never sold on Amazon, so don't know that you would probably get feedback from only 3% to 4% of buyers there as Patch does on Atomic Mall. I don't know about your other off-eBay venues, but I suspect that you're making negative statements about WP just for the sake of making negative statements.

It isn't a problem unless you try to pay your bills with feedback. I have never tried to pay my mortgage with feedback.

I also don't sell on WP, but can agree with Patch on AM....I've had 40+ sales and 4-5 feedback. On eCrater, I have 124 not rated sales vs. 46 with feedback....and - those who pay with Money Order or Cashier's Check can't leave feedback.

So - for whatever reason, it does seem that feedback from buyers is far less popular off-ebaY than on.

I do not 'beg' for it; I do ask buyers to confirm receipt of their item by returning to the site and leaving feedback. But - I don't follow-up as I do see it as a 'choice' vs. a requirement.

I also always leave feedback (AM) and do so when they pay.
