Hi,

I recognize quite a few people here from other threads as well as WP. It was just stated let's not tell half truth's here. I agree and plain and simple facts say it all therefore here are some simple facts about WP.

1) You can’t verify sales through a completed listing check and because of that the only sales that can be verified are ones that received feedback. Look at the feedback closely, does feedback solicitation ring a bell? Any statement about sales on WP can and should be considered as a half truth because of the lack of information. Example: anyone can claim a sale but without the proof the sale was completed only the person stating knows the truth.

2) Why is asking legitimate business questions grounds for termination or censorship? Most legitimate sites welcome legitimate questions in fact I have personally spoken to a few site owners without a problem, was thanked for my input and continue to speak to them today about problems with or ways to advance there site. If you are wondering 3 sites I talk with are on the PSU chart and they are both above and below WP in terms of items listed.

3) Even though most people by now know who owns WP does the whois info remain hidden. Where is Ray to handle all questions?

4) The listing count is manipulated. I have proven it on a different thread along with many other people. If you want the true listing count you must do your own manual count. I have found the WP home page count to be between 5,000 & 10,000 higher than a manual count everytime.

I could go on and on but not now. The single most important fact about WP is before you use the site investigate for yourself and make your own determination.

Truth

This individual is someone who repeatedly posts outright lies about me, other Wagglepop sellers, and the Wagglepop site on another public forum. This is what he posted about me today on the the 'other' public forum:

"I have been watching the PSU thread for some time now. I must say you are doing a great job there Alskling & others. I also noticed powerseller was there as of today. She couldn't dispute the facts here so she moved onto PSU with the same lies. I have been keeping a watch on her store and she hasn't made any sales since she left TT so she is lying on PSU.

Keep up the good work guys & if anyone wants to post any wagglefacts on PSU go right ahead. I will post there when the time is right but not yet. Another good point to make on PSU is the lack of being able to check completed listings.

He claims that he has been keeping a watch on my store. HOW CREEPY IS THAT?!? He claims that I haven't made any sales so that I was lying when I posted some of my numbers here. He also claims that you can't verify sales by checking completed listings. Actually, you CAN verify sales by checking completed listings. You can go to the 'Search By Item Number' section of the 'Advanced Search' on Wagglepop, put in these item numbers from just one of my multiple item sales this weekend (347106, 35939, 170741, 345724). That will prove who here is the liar. Of course, U1it4less likes to say that you can't prove which transactions were actually completed, so according to his illogic, it can't be proven that any seller ever sold any items on any auction site. I'll be back in a couple minutes with one of his so-called 'WAGGLEFACTS'........................

Hey Saturn,
You should read what buyers say about WP on other boards. Some say it was the worst buying experience they ever had. Horrible communication, hard to navigate; couldn't figure how to check out; items arrived smelling like smoke; hated having to PLEDGE paying an invoice just to register; etc.

I sold several items on WP and ALL my buyers HATED the site. One hated it so much, she refused to buy unless I listed the same item on another venue.

O.K., here's another of U1it4less's ridiculous attempts to try to make Wagglepop look bad.

"WAGGLEFACT #3 FOR NEW YEAR'S

THE SHOWCASE/FEATURED FUDGE

Here is something I have missed and haven't seen reported at least yet about WP on TT.

As it is stated 1/1/07 10:30AM EST by WP:

Showcase stores = 15
Featured stores = 30

Fact:
8 stores are doubled in showcase and featured which would put the showcase stores at 7 or 15 and the featured stores at 22 or 30.

Total featured and showcase stores is 37 and NOT 45.
It's easy to check and I advise all to do so.

let the truth be told
u1it4less - "it's all in the name.."
X-POP NATION, A real seller's network"

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that the Showcase Upgrade which costs $30./month and the Featured Upgrade which costs $10./month are two separate options. Sellers can choose whether or not to pay for one or both of those options, or they can stick with a basic store for just the $9.95/month.

it is really creepy, for people going from one forum to another with negativity on a site... being happy and trying to sell going to forums is normal stuff.. BUT going to and fro back and forth with not having a interest in a site is indeed as CREEPY as it can BE!

if one thinks a site is good for their sales and money it is NORMAL to be there and to spend time on forums trying to work the sales, but what is ugly is people who does not have an interest and spends thet time going back and forth with negative stuff... maybe stating ones negative experience twice about a site would be somewhat normal, but then why waste TIME like a mad person and go to and fro?

Saturn, I completely agree with you. I was referring to the more personal creepyness of a group of wierdos observing and commenting on every move I make with my online sales, but the irrational spreading of negativity about a site and it's fine sellers is equally creepy.

Just so everybody knows, Angel is known as PowerSeller on Tulip Tools. She spammed the boards and did her cheering. The community was polite and she was welcomed.

When she figured she was getting nowhere, faced with irrefutable evidence of unethical practices going on there and put in a position of having to explain what she could not, she called me a 'jerk" and left. I think her comment was that we didn't need to suspend members on TT (like is done on WP), we get "jerks" like me to do it for them. Gotta love those respectful, happy Poppers.

Yes, I am PowerSeller on Tulip Tools, but the comment you're referring to was posted by someone else (someone that I have great respect for, but not me). I left TT because I found the majority of the posters there to be one-track-minded Wagglepop haters with no interest in accepting any of the information that I had to contribute. I don't have time for ignorant and disrespectful people and those who repeatedly post lies about others on a public forum. There are far more important things in life for me to deal with than trying to reason with unreasonable people. Here on PSU though, I think there are people who are interested in hearing from someone who is having a positive experience with an auction site. Lord knows there are plenty of negatives going around, and people need to know that good online selling options DO exist.

the point to understand this issue with TT is that it is normal to go to a forum and be happy about a site one likes..... or even to try to promote.. this is totally normal behavior... what is not normal and what is big time UGLY is people FOLLOWING with negativetity.. from one forum to another..this is a sick BUNCH.

and you can see by the number of posts that they only go to post negative about wp.. going from one forum to another.... very ugly behavior!

Moi? "A nut"? Why, Crystal!...........

You know me far too well......lol

But, seriously, my point in jumping into this conversation has been simply
to give people an insight into my experiences at WP.

And maybe to remind people, especially those who are new at exploring
other online venues for selling since the Ebay feehike, that you're going to
have to take a different tact than you did when listing at Ebay. No matter
what "alternate" auction site you choose to use, you're going to have to
rethink your approach to making your store a success.

And with that comment I'm off to do some constructive work on my store.
I could sit here all afternoon and banter back and forth about this or that
aspect of WP, but I'd prefer to be making more sales.....lol.

I'll check back later this evening I'm sure to see how the screeching is
going........

Gael,

I appreciate you coming here and speaking from your point of view. You are doing well on WP and with no ulterior motive, I sincerely wish you and your business the best of success. Never would I wish you or the other sellers failure from their endeavours and hard work.

You possess an education for selling online that is greater than that of many other sellers currently on WP. You've proven it in your articulate and informational posts here and there and your record as a seller on this venue. You are serious about earning a living online. As long as WP works for you keep on trucking. But make sure your headlights are on.

What I do wish for is the failure of KaRay and his money making machine. I know this acknowledgment appears to be in conflict with what I stated above. Now before you label me as biased without cause or one of little faith please let me share my WP experience with you so that you can give my words more credence or perhaps understand them better.

I signed up on WP in July. As a seller I did okay. 95 sales, 70 feedback. Only 4 of those were from other sellers. I advertised and promoted by all legal avenues and was becoming established as a dependable seller, with good product and great customer service. If based on this alone I'd still be there today.

But some of the practices and aspects of the set-up on WP began to disturb me. With a bit of research I gleaned some unsettling information. I politely probed the waters and was callously cut adrift for my efforts to seek clarification and/or reassurance. Prior to this I was just as fervent as you, just as confident that WP was viable as you believe today.

Many of the sellers I left behind on WP I hold in high esteem. They work their butts off. I get so angry when they allude to their lack of sales as something they are doing wrong. The WP board is riddled with posts from sellers asking for opinions on what they are lacking. Check out this, give feedback on that. They want to succeed, they believe in a dream - their dream. My experience has taught me that this dream, one I share as passionately at one time, can turn into a nightmare at the whim of one egotistical, narcissistic despot.

I hope you do not experience the unpleasantness of sticking your neck out in the name of business only to have it severed from the body of your enterprise. On the other hand I hope you continue to question the viability, the dictates, the benefits to you personally with WP.

I disagree through my own experience with your perspective of WP but I don't deny you yours as you see it today because I once shared it.

All the best,
sherrand

Angel,
So, if I understand you correctly, you have "great respect" for someone calling another poster a "jerk" on a public forum.

Now, that's a happy, kind, courteous, positive post.

As far as positive experiences go, you can find someone on ANY venue who's had a positive experience. Some people even enjoy prison.

Most on WP have NOT HAD A "POSITIVE" EXPERIENCE. People with positive experiences DO NOT LEAVE. Their experiences are negative and their reasons for leaving are ones YOU WILL NEVER HEAR ON WP, BECAUSE RAY WILL NOT ALLOW IT. THAT'S A FACT! If it were allowed to be said on WP, we X-poppers wouldn't need to be here.

I think you will find most of the posters on this thread and on other threads on TT, have been a seller on Wagglepop. Yes, WP seems a great place to start with ~ $9.95 a month plus small FVFs. But, people were leaving due to all the same reasons, all have been mentioned a number of times on this post.

So, I think we are all speaking with the voice of experience when we say that Wagglepop has many faults
