So others could see that yes there are some who sit around and plan what kind of trouble they can cause over on WP. As I said one thing to not like a site and say so. But is a whole other story when you sit around and plan what you can do to bring it down and then actually do it. I understand it's because some don't like the owner but they are hurting sellers with some of the things they are doing.

This is just a sample there are hundreds of post like this there and ones where they name call, label and make fun of sellers. I did not copy the ones where they make fun of sellers I didn't want to do that to the sellers. But I will say Princess the one who started this thread was one of the sellers they made fun of in many many post.

Second the questions about banned IP address (I'm an IT major), you can always access WP with a proxy server. Many are free on the internet and they mask/change your surfing IP address. So if you internet provider assigns you 77.7.7.7.7.0, the proxy will mask it as 129.9.9.9.0 and even change the IP location to where their server is, so it would be impossible to know your true location and IP address. You could sign up as a new account on WP with a free email address and be able to view/post and even sell on WP via the proxy.

That thought occured to me as well. If we really wanted to throw a wrench in the works, we should all pick one seller (the more obscure the better) and just click away until his account is exhausted. How are the other Poppers going to explain how he got all those hits and everybody else got nothing.

shysurfer via the link works. I clicked on it, entered wp url and clicked on register and that is when WP logs your IP, well it wasn't my IP that was logged, it was shysurfers, lol.

Apparently a potential seller is considering 4 sites to open a store and got on the boards on all 4 sites (including Popland) to ask members what they would consider to be the 10 best reasons for hooking up as a seller on the site. The list I made is more than 10, so you can pick the best ones.

That's 100% fine with me since my sales are coming along great just from all of the buyers finding my items in internet searches and from the site traffic that exists already. Your advice is for people not to waste their money on Wagglepop. My advice is that Wagglepop is only a waste of money for people who do not take the time to learn about what it takes to be successful in off-eBay selling. OR, for sellers who have a really, really small business, maybe some of them are better off trying the free sites if $9.95/month is a big issue. For everyone else, Waggelpop represents a great opportunity and is 100% worthy of a good solid try. I still have a long way to go with getting my store up to par, but I have already made about $2,000. in sales while paying VERY low fees. I couldn't ask for anything more. (Well except for a bit of category improvement, but that's all.)

Fabs response was a continuation of a post that was written by Karen and quoted over on TT...

Fab was being sarcastic by saying that Karen should have ended her post with saying that she liked to click on their ads... Fab wasn't saying that SHE clicked on the ads...

How convenient that you forgot to copy the "entire" post when copying it over here.

and THAT is exactly why the TT'ers can't seem to get their point across... you only read every other sentence and use what works for you and discard the actual meaning...

That was only one post on that subject of clicking adds there are many more there. If someone were to go back and read through it there is a lot of it that does not sound like joke or sarcasm. No I do not read every other word. Also why if they are not really going over just to cause trouble would they bother asking about masking IP's. Why because they want to go back on after they were kicked off to stir up more trouble

It's a 400+ page thread I couldn't post everything like I said it's just a sample. There are post there where they plan what they are going to go over and post or do at WP to cause trouble. Believe me I would have liked to copy more of them but it's too time consuming and would make for much too long of a post here.

Oh I forgot to add the fact that I've read what they said they were going to come over to WP and post to stir up trouble and sure enough that post they talked about shows up on WP so they are doing what they say.

As of the time of this writing, nearly 50% of the sellers have blown the Pop stand.

So many requests for store closures, staff can't stay ahead of them all. Some of my colleagues are saying they have received personal messages from WP sellers who requested to have their stores closed days ago, and still have received no response after several emails.

I didn't know Asksling, Fine Things, Sweet Girl, Gamer and the gang were such a dynamic force in the world. They should be working to end world hunger and end the war in Iraq. Give me a frickin' break!

I'm sure it never occured to anyone, that sellers are leaving in DROVES because they find NO REASON TO STAY AT WP? Duh!

Oh, and to set the record straight: I was banned from WP. I have not posted under any new ID at WP, clicked on a single banner ad, sent a single PM to any member, nor done anything else apart from observe what everybody else can see: listing numbers and store numbers and figure all the descrepancies with a hand held calculator. The hypotheticals were to point out all the FLAWS in Ray's site and its potential for abuse. It's really a shame that some sellers don't see the reasons to stay at Wagglepop. I think a lot of that comes from inexperience. Many of the people who are bashing Wagglepop now are going to be singing a different tune a year from now when Wagglepop sellers are doing great, and they've spent a ton of time trying to sell on the free sites with little to show for it.

open minded people will look at just how buyer enjoyable and friendly wagglepop is over all other sites this is a big advantage to build a great site..

its really a no brainer just go look browse.. and then check YOUR feelings..... its the BEST feel good site on the net.. this is what will make it grow big....

Designers Bargains that's right blow it out of proportion first of all you have no idea what % of stores closed for what reasons over the past few months. There are many reasons why stores close. I saw on the other forum that someone told you they had someone pm them yesterday about requesting WP to close their store wow that's alot of colleagues another example of your exaggerations.

I can say the same thing I've spoken with other sellers who closed at WP for various reasons some personal some it just was not the right site for them but they still like the site they still buy on the site. Not everyone that leaves does so for the same reason and not everyone that leaves does so hating the site.

I never said that this group was any kind of force but a handful of people can stir up trouble I didn't say they would succeed. As I said before maybe more people would take it seriously if they didn't resort to this kind of stuff. Yeah that forum looks real business like NOT.

sellers are leaving cause of low sales that is normal at this time from a start up site... these sellers do not understand what MAKES sales ..the sales WILL come cause of how it is set up.. its a natural law... the site is made for buyer enjoyment and fun this brings word of mouth buyers and REPEAT buyers....

the sales as already began to snowball... the last week of sales reports was 2100 sales which had tripled in 3 months ... and this with stores closing ... also this site has the fees where sellers will be more likely to be mega sellers not small sellers... UNLIMITED listings for a certain price does this... so as stores has left items has increased so buyers are still growing and growing with both the feeling and with more items...

yes the response to the tt people from regulars here does speak volumns... what it is all these people LIVE their whole lives in forums.... they belong to many many forums and know each other from living on forums like they do.. and cause they know each other they overlook the outrageous conduct of tt posters...

Actually, that sales figure was for the middle of December. WP has not updated the sales for the last couple of weeks after suddenly changing to a monthly sales report. Which may be a good thing for WP since the traffic has plummeted over the last few weeks. Thats usually not a good thing for sales.

By the way, the whole feeling thing comes across as a little creepy.
