Is anyone else having a problem getting into the Forum on Blujay? I keep getting timed out on Firefox or the "page cannot be found" message.

I am having the same problem with my Maxthon browser. Also when I clicked the link to your store page it showed up and the was replaced with "page not found'. I have had that problem before. When I found your store thru one of your listings it worked just fine.

Can't get into forums, either. My store seems okay, and I can edit and post ads.

The forums are still slow today. Admin doesn't seem to be around anymore to help. People are having issues with the site but emails don't get answered. I wonder what is going on?

I had a sale yesterday right around the time the first post here came up. I went to BJ to see the invoice and by that time it had already been paid thru GC. That is one of the few BJ orders where the buyer actually figured out to finish the order thru GC himself without me having to send a GC or PP invoice.

I was able to log in and leave posts so it seems to be ok for me.

Hi everybody, I went to blujay to check it out, and I can get on the main blujay.com page no problem, but when I try to go to the forum, it takes a long time to load the page, and then a white page with this message comes up,
"Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later."

Does anyone know what SMF is?
It's such a bummer that admin has disappeared!!??

Regards,
dancing

From what I can find Adam has not posted at the BluJay forums since 12-20-06

I hope nothing has happen to him.

It's hit and miss. I don't know what admin is doing but I wish they would get it together or at least let us know what's going on! Low to no sales, site problems and no word from Adam, could there be trouble in paradise? I myself am looking into other venues. Yes I know it's a free site but still no sales is no sales.

SMF is the name of the forum software they are using. Simple Machines Forum. That message just means the forum is having problems.

Has anyone tried contacting Adam via email?

I just did a test listing over there and was pleased with it. I've Was hoping to list more, but I don't put any priority on sites with no bulk listers. Been interested in this site before, but listing one at a time is always a hindrance to me. However, if the site is having problems, I'd like to know now & scratch it off my list.

I have emailed him. Also when I re-searched his post he had posted this month. So I feel a little better.

All these sites seem to be hit or miss as far as Admin being around and as far as sales lately.

Personally BJ and eC, HAVE been getting me sales, but this is going into my hot season for sales. Got another from BJ just a few minutes ago.

But admin not being around and taking care of business doesn't just apply to some of these smaller sites.

The Google group for Checkout has not had much of any Google presence on that board most of the month. Oh Joel stops in and posts on 1 or 2 threads and then is gone for the rest of the week. I've had an unanswered question over there for nearly 3 weeks now.

And don't get me going on eBay CS. It took them from 2/14 til this afternoon (12 days) to essentially give me a non-answer.

Most of the time those with the most money have the worst CS.

I have always liked Blujay. I may try to list later when their problems are straightened out. I believe it is a simple and easy site to list on. When I listed previously the sellers were all very nice and friendly.
