I just had something very odd happen when I went to my PP account -- I got in my account WITHOUT signing-in !!!!!!!!!
I have 4 browser windows and I had been at PP earlier today. But I will usually have to sign-in about every 5 minutes, even if I haven't left the PP page. This time I went from the eBay boards, not signed-in there, to my PP account by my bookmark. I ALWAYS have to go thru the sign-in page before I get to my account. I clicked on "request" before I realized what was happening.
I immediately closed that browser window, opened a new window and used my bookmark for PP. This time it made me sign-in.
This is just something very odd and scary at the same time. I will be changing some passwords and emptying PP as I don't trust eBay or PP right now at all.

| Carol you need to get yourself a screen capture program, there is free shareware out there but I use snagit and after 30 days I bought a $25 lifetime license. I like snagit because it lets me do screen shots and video capture. It's useful for me because I use it for all sorts of things, you might want it. I swear every seller should have this in their toolbox |

I don't know what that would have dome for this issue. It totally bypassed the sign-in screen. There was nothing to capture. How would I have proven that I didn't log-in ?
But I know how to do a "print-screen" and I have some kind of capture function on Paint Shop Pro and other graphics programs I have.
But what would I have done with it ?
I changed my PW and ran Spy-bot S&D and Adaware. Neither found anything other than the usual ad cookies from browsing. I also sent most of my PP money to my checking account.
Security seems to be getting worse and worse at eBay/PayPal.

| it wouldn't fix your issue, but at least you would have something that you could show them visually what you are experiencing when you contact support |

I understand that for some of the other eBay glitches, but how do you show that you DIDN'T have to go thru the sign-in to get in ??
I don't know if the sign-in page shows up on the "back" button or not. I'll have to watch and look for that next time I go over there.
I've had to go to PP more that I usually do of late because only about 1/2 of the orders I've gotten this week are sending me the PP notices. So I have to check at the site.
Oh well, just another fun game with eBay,

Just a bump since not many saw this.
Be careful with your PP account.
