|
I opened one in August and never listed on it. I tried to cancel it in 90 days but they renewed it and I couldn't figure out how to close it.
Then, when the next 90 days came around I just maxed out the little CC I Used to open it thinking they would give up. I maxed it a day or two before the bill was due.
But, nope! They sent me an email every day for 18 days that I would be suspended or needed to update my CC. Then, as soon as I paid my bill they snapped the $29.95 right up.
I can't find a billing email address and the one email I did manage to get through said I had to go through billing but wouldn't answer after that.
HELP! It's almost time to pay again and I am just throwing away $10 a month. |

I list stuff at BV but have had only one sale and never a store.
I'd contact them repeatly at http://www.bidville.com/cs/cs_email.asp
and let them know what you wish to do. Otherwise you're going to have to probably cancel your CC so BV can no longer automatically charge it.
Hope this helps and good luck! |

Did you try going through your Trackpal (or whatever they are calling it these days) and try to manage your store to close it?
Couldn't hurt to also contact your credit card company and dispute the charges to at least try to get Bidville's attention.
If you don't get anywhere with Bidville's customer support as elgato suggested, you could try telling the credit card company the problem.

I have searched the site for a way to close the store but haven't been able to.
I had hoped someone might have been through the same thing and figured it out.
I was foolish to sign up for the $29.95 quarterly store payment when i started. After Ubid bought them I thought they might take off and wanted to reserve a spot with my ID:(
Thank you both for your suggestions.
I'll keep trying. |

Go to Manage Store and on the right side almost to the bottom it says this...
To close your store permanently, and discontinue your monthly fee Click Here
Hope that works for you. |
