Why does it take Google Checkout so long to deposit my funds into my bank account? I've got payments from the 5th, 6th and 9th that are still just "sitting there".

I'm really pushing Google Checkout as a great PP alternative, but wonder about the slowness of deposits. Any comments??

That is odd. Usually 2 days after the charge, it goes to "payout". It usually takes 2 more days on my bank's end for me to actually see it in my bank account.

Have you gotten your bank account "verified" ?? Have you entered either your SS # or EIN # on the GC "financial" forms?

Those have been the 2 things that have slowed things down for most people.

Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. GC did seem to have a few more than usuall problems last week tho. Maybe they were doing something new or had more use than usual.

My payouts have been like clockwork since I started with GC.

I have received 3 other payments, but they sure weren't very speedy!

What are the deposit amounts? since google checkout is not a real merchant account they are very slow about releasing large payments in fear of charge backs.

2 of the payments are very small, the other is average...nothing to break the bank over!

if in small you mean less than $40 then that is very odd they would hold those amounts. Have you tried calling them? sometimes it just takes a quick phone call with their merchant departments.

I have emailed them and received a very quick response (refreshing! :) ) but have not received a good explanation as to why these last 3 orders took until today to be charged and they have still not been sent to my bank.

I have my GC set to automatically charge the customer's card when an order come's through. Typically I'm seeing a 4-5 business day deposit into my bank. I have not experienced the delays others have seen, either.

My orders are in the $25-$75 range & none have been held.

formpay...such statements will not create credibility for your service, except by the *most* gullible.

I've only had 2 payments/orders thru GCO, and the first had a delay - only cuz I hadn't verified yet - duh.....  Actually, this one came 'in' during the setup phase for me - didn't know what to do.

I did write and scream 'help', but they responded and said 'it's all good'...

On the second one, It was 'as noted above' - not too bad!

I must report that this whole problem is my fault...I had my payment settings wrong and was shown my stupidity through 2 very quick email responses by Google...I am VERY IMPRESSED with this whole setup...Yeh google Checkout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
