Hey all:

I've got 2 e-Checks in Paypal that have been there much longer than usual. One is coming from Canada, and has been 'there' since 3/6. The other is local, and has been there since 3/7.

Anyone else noticing delays in processing with Paypal? TIA!!! :D

Neither seem unusual. International e checks will take longer and local ones can take up to 7-8 business days sometimes. If they are not cleared by Wednesday then i would be concerned.

My experience ---- this is longer than usual. Every other e-Check I've gotten has cleared much faster than you quoted.

I'm looking for sellers with recent experience to see if I need to do something - as this is atypical for me/my sales!

Recently had an e-check from a Canadian buyer take 10 calendar days to process through paypal. Did the email paypal sends out give a date to clear estimate?

4 business days is about average for US checks. And Jim in the UK had told me it could take as much as 9 business days to clear international.

What amazed me a member would sign up using an echeck... then immediately come online saying "I paid and I can't access yet."

Yes, 4-5 business days is the usual for USA checks. But I did have one from the UK last Christmas that took over 2 weeks. The original "estimate" was about 10 days. That came and they extended it and even the extension passed before it was cleared.

So the e-checks have been a problem for a while now.

In the past, I've not gotten a whole lot. This year, I've had a few....I had 3 in a row in the last 2 weeks! They all popped on the radar screen tonight, so will ship tomorrow.

A heads up to all - only 2 came thru with an email message. When I went to Paypal, I had more money than expected - between the 2 that I got notice of clearing.

Well - it took a bit of digging (I wish these would pop to the top) to figure it out - so take notice - I now have also experienced an issue with Paypal Notifications.

The two that arrived were 'invoiced' by me via PP (Yahoo sales). The one that DID NOT arrive was 'direct pay' via an eCrater order.

BLUF - keep an eye on PP with 'auto orders'...

Thanks Carol! :D
