Thanks for your interest in the PSU stores.
To answer your question? Yes, you must first obtain a DNS. There are many online companies who offer these types of service.
I personally use godaddy.com. It takes a little time to set up, then after a certain time frame, you can contact psunite here and he can assist you in transfering your DNS to your new web store.
Good luck and don't be shy when questions arise! |

godaddy has 99 cent sale for a domain then its something like $10 a year (.info)
sure beats $100 on some sites , you don't need hosting or anything else and dont worry if sale is not ongoing you can still get .biz and .com for cheap ! |

I use GoDaddy for registering all my domain names. Occasionally they have a sale on the '.com' names (which is what you want), but worst case they're only $8.95 per year.
Good luck with your new venture! |

| It doesn't matter if you get a domain before or after you order a PSU store. |

You can test drive the demos of the stores in the Ecommerce Hosting box on the left of the page.
There's a demo for the "front-end" which is the storefront or what your customer sees.
And there's a demo for the "back-end" or the back of the shop, where you work setting up, adding product, processing orders, yadah, yadah. Like the guy behind the curtain in the Wizard of OZ! :D

I can set up everything (from the beginning to the end) for $25. It's a one time set up fee.
I will
1)Buy you a domain name (or come up with some alternative domain names if the one you want is already taken)
2)Host your website (godaddy hosting)
3)SSL (Godaddy SSL)
4)Install a ecommerce software
5)Submit your site to search engines.
1+2+3 cost you 115usd per year. Every year you need to pay 115.
You can see a sample at www.watchextra.com
(Tech Support cost extra $ @ 25usd/Hr) |

| So are you talking about setting us up with a GoDaddy website OR a PSU website? |

Setup free with PSU stores
1) You probably will want to do that yourself so you have total control of your own domain and it only takes 5 mins
2) PSU provides hosting
3) PSU provides shared SSL
4) PSU already installs e-commerce software on your site.
5) This is pretty easy and quick to do ie http://www.google.com/addurl/
Cost 9.99 a month or 99.99 a year
(Tech Support FREE)
I feel that everyone should be able to do 1 and 5. We will walk you through it and they are very easy. Knowing how to do 1 and 5 yourself will help you in the long run.
