I was able to open my eCRATER home page, but when I do a search for a specific product, I can't seem to open the product page. Anyone else having the same problem? I just activated my AdWords; guess I better pause them again until this is fixed. I'm sure they are working on it and it'll come up little by little.

FullerBrush --- your problem might be twofold.
I say that because of the terms of selling on ecrater.com and selling a product that is an affiliation or distrutorship.
Otherwise it has to do with the post made by Dimitri -

I am currently working on the problem. Later tonight I will stop the server to do some tests on the hard drive.
The problem still persists so the server might be off and on.

I've not tried to add anything, but I just did a quick scan of my things, and fixed an item title (edit). It went thru OK - was the edit issue related to the description or the title? Or...the whole function.
This was within the last 5 mins. or so - it's 7:45CST currently! Hope this helps! I won't be trying to add anything tonight, so can't help with that part! :D |

After a lot of testing I was able to identify a bad memory unit. It caused the server to "freeze" after random time of running (5 min - 12 hours).
Currently the server is still running from the garage. It will stay there several more days until I am absolute sure that the problem was in the memory unit only.

Yeppers, you can't ask for more info than the guy was able to get to us over here. He's been great!
I've been fine since Sunday AM, everything has worked well.

Not sure what's going on at ecrater. I haven't had a sale there is so long I can't remember the last one. I did have a buyer who persistently wants to buy something I have marked everywhere as PU only & have me mail it (furniture). She said the item was no longer listed?? I went & looked & saw it. Not sure what that's about?
Been so busy trying to get my own website up & running that I've sort of neglected all my other sites. Have to go check everything out today, at least make sure I'm still here, there & everywhere, LOL. |

You are bolder than I am Frontporch! I have two pickup only items in my breezeway, and I have been dragging my feet listing them anywhere. :cry:
But the DH is making noise that they have got to go if I don't sell them, so I am going to have to try a Pickup Only soon! |

LOL I've had that "PU only" running for months and can't tell you how many requests I received to mail it to about 8 or 10 states. This girl "can't live without it" and doesn't care what it cost to ship. I can't figure out how to pack it & have it arrive in one piece. Keep dragging bigger & bigger boxes home to the point that I can't move it to get it to a shipper. LOL It's nuts!
I wish I knew a place around here that would do the packing & shipping. Maybe ups does that?? This lady will drive me over the edge. She emails me at least a few times a week since I said I would "attempt" to pack it. I feel bad, should have just said NO! |
