We are almost ready to launch our site, and in every aspect we feel confident the platform quality will out-perform most out there. In an effort to try and answer the requests that many sellers have made we just made a substantial investment into an off-line bulkloader ( in addition to the on-line one we had ), and we need someone who is very experienced to really try it and give us some feedback as to it's performance. Please let me know if you are willing, and I will contact you with with URL ..

( everyone else will see it soon enough , don't worry you won't be dissapointed )

I've been a member on so many forums, and this is a classic example why this site, will unfortunatly have a hard time really succeeding. It has been 6 days since I started this thread, and not a single reply... But over 100 veiws ? Seems to me like this is a lot more of an exclusive club than many would like to admit.
I don't mean to offend anyone here, but last week we spent over $2000 on features like this (on top of the countless expenses we already had)only because people here seem to want them. That's a little disturbing - in 1 week, to have spent more on upgrades than half the sites promoted here cost in total - ONLY because they were mentioned by you and to be completely disregarded by over 100 members..
At this point it's just criticism (hopefully constructive), but anyone who is one this site daily like I am, will soon notice that while there are over 800 members ALL the activity that goes on here, is taking place with maybe 50 members.. If your goal is to truly "unite" , come up with ideas and have a common goals everyone here needs to really try and start cultivating a true "community" atmosphere. What good is having goals of 1000 members, etc. if 90% have long since left ?

People don't really know how to respond. All you said was that you had something great, but you don't have a link to your site (I don't think it's up yet correct?). I was 3-4 of the views and I've been thinking that you should definitely post your link. I'm anxious to see it actually because you and King are really kind and would probably offer great CS, but again, you have no link (yet) to post.

Trust me, once you post the link people will respond! Once they see the site they then can in turn judge a bulklister for it. There are a ton of threads here to keep up on, and if people can't even look at a prospective site then they'll just hurry back over to other threads where they can see what the hype is about. I

keep looking back here to see if you'll post a link,a nd I'm sure others will check it out once it's up. If your not ready to post your site yet then you'll see that there isn't much response (if any). It's a crowded market, and a lot of people won't respond to a site that isn't up yet, when they have to keep up with sites that are growing, changing (for better or worse) fees and perks every day, and have cheerleaders as part of the forum.

It is a bit of a tight knit community but we've accepted everyone here with open arms who's built up the confidence to join. They fit right in once they start posting (unless they start attacking as we've seen happen before).

Anyways, I can't WAIT to see your site (really I've been thinkin' about it since you first posted Welcome to me, see, remembered the thread :D). There was someone here who claimed they could break any bulk lister (Angels4you or AngelSolutions.. crap I can't remember, sorry :?) so you might want to approach them, everyone else won't show interest til the site's up unless your asking for opinions. If you come here more and ask opinions, provide some advice as to your site's fees and features, I'm sure lots of people would be interested in what your claiming to be an unbeatable bulk lister.

Remember, there's a lot of people hyping their sites that send a link and we see right away they can't back it up; this can be discouraging enough to just plain ignore a site that has a lot of great things to say but no link to provide proof. I'm sure once your site is up you can back up most of what you say (no site is 100% perfect, even the sites'cheerleaders will tell you that) and again, I'll check it out ASAP :). Talk to you soon!

I see your point about the link.. We were actually looking for someone to volanteer and I would've gotten back privately with the site info. We have put so much into this, but until it is ready, we do not want to have everyone see it and pass judgement on our incomplete project. ( we're probably being overly-picky at this point ) and we were simply looking for anyone who might have experience with bulklisters to try it out, and see what they think.
I thank you for your comments of support, and point taken, but I still think what I said is valid, and it is out of concern for the success of PSunite. It's a great concept, but unfortunatly I have seen a lot people come and go quickly because of very little support.. ( many times their threads turn into completely off-topic conversations that the original poster isn't even included in ) PSunite is an underdog just like many of the sites we are promoting, and this is simply some of my feedback.I hope it is taken to heart the way the feedback of my own site will be taken by me.

Yeah I'm definitely guilty about going off in coversation in a thread, and I'm trying to stop, but sometimes you jsut have to go with the flow of a conversation. I've cut them off to start the appropriate thread and it just dies so that's my explanation, but your definitely right about that. When do you expect your site to be up?

I'll give you a hand. I'll be a good example of someone with average intelligence, who knows how to read, is not afraid to read the destructions before tackling new software, I know how to upload from a csv, I have some products I can post ... and I've been told that I can be kinda cute in certain light ....

I'm willing ... which makes me a good candidate, right? :-)

BTW ... the thread is under Need Help Starting Your Own Website ? I didn't look at it before now. (Which doesn't explain 100 views w/ no reply .... but it explains maybe why some didn't look at it )

I thought I heard my name! I'm angelsolutions.

Truthfully, when I read your first post, I *almost* clicked on the back button. And your second post made me feel indignant. Perhaps we are a closeknit crew, and there may be a ton of lurkers out there, but you didn't offer us anything to look at, either.

I am the undisputed  (as far as I know) champion of bulk lister breaking. :( I've met only two that work....and I use them daily. In fact they are both running right now in their own windows. Bidville's express loader (PERFECT) and AuctionTamer. Ok, Yahoo's is really good, but it doesn't do tricks. The other two do.

I'd be happy to help out....but I want to see the site too. Choosing a site to sell on *isn't* all about a bulk lister. It makes a big difference to me personally, but I still list on a few sites without one just because I like the site (although...they don't get ALL my listings--I'd die of old age)

Contact me if you still want help.

Smokin'......and broken.... What can I say....It's a skill I have. :(
It's lonely at the bottom.

Actually, it will be GREAT, when it's tweaked and the site is well done! Xavier...I'm just pullin' yer leg.... the offline lister is great, just needs work is all. Start with instructions (or destructions as granny called them...I loved that!) I'd call the online one something else.

These guys are doing a great job and this site will be well worth checking out and using. :D

Can't wait for you guys to come online! :!:

Kudo's to you guys!

It's not broken, but I am giving the info. to see what the problem was. I think you have an extra column that is used on other sites, that mine won't use - they are going to get back to me today after they look at your files.. Thanks :D

Oh heavens no....it isn't broken. Just teasin'! :D This is the process for tweaking something into working correctly. I just happen to find it fun to do! LOL Let me know if I can be of further help.

Extra column? I went back to check the file when I saw that error message & didn't see any. I copy/pasted only what the column heading requested. Let me know what you find out. :D

Ask whether my HTML is the problem, too. Many of us sellers use templates for dressing up our listings. Sometimes the tab-delimited and/or csv files are temperamental about how to put it in there or whether it will upload to a site properly.

They said that it was because the spreadsheet you had was formatted with an additional column that our site doesn't use, so it's pretty easy to fix that I guess, but the solutions they came up with is to install some type of filter, that will automatically scan the file before upload and correct it I guess.. I'll see the change over the weekend...
