I know this doesn't apply to everyone selling on eCRATER, but I recently, very recently suggested a new global category - one specifically for candle and soap making since many of my items don't fall anywhere except for general craft supplies and that's a pretty broad category.
So I suggested the category - eCRATER support team emailed me to ask if 'Candle & Soap Making' would do and there ya go! A new category is born!
I guess I'm just overly thrilled because I am not used to a selling venue actually listening and hearing and then doing! And this site is free to build your store on too?
I'm just totally impressed!

Excellent news!!! Congrats! But I have to say....how extremely strange it must feel to actually have a venue listen! AND respond in a positive manner!

It is, it is! So odd but so very nice to know there's some places that do actually listen!
And really, I was floored when I got the email today regarding it - I know I submitted it, but I never thought anywhere there'd be personal interaction letting me know that the category was actually started... now it's up to me to get busy and change some of my listings so they fit in that category and get some more listed :) |

Hi, I just wanted to say I was glad to read this post re. ecrater cause I just joined there, and I was hoping they would be a good place to sell; everything I've seen so far looked good, glad to hear that they were so responsive!!

That's super cool Sarah - and agree....great news! I'm such a 'dork' - when I don't see a 'good category' I just go to 'other'...Might have to rethink that strategy and ask for a cat - eh? :wink: :wink:
