I've been redesigning my website with Web Easy 6 so I know what I want it to look like. I had about 20 hours on my web design when my old computer crashed. I had everything saved on my thumb drive but it comes up that files are missing. I'm tired of messing with the web easy program so I figure I would check out a PSU store.
Do I have to use a template or can I design everything myself?
Can I use Dynamic HTML with motion graphics?
How hard is it to transfer web address and email or do I cancel and start a new one? My host is ieasysite.
Can I use Paypal and Google checkout both?
How do I list my items? Is it like an Ebay Store?
Sorry I have so many questions, I didn't read the info on the PSU Store sign up page cause I'm lazy, I just came here and started asking questions.
I might be as bad as my customers that I complain about for not reading my item descriptions. |

The site uses templates but you have full control of the template. You can also use hundreds of already free joomla templates available on the web. The more html and css you know the more you can change the look of the site.
Yes you can use dynamic html
To transfer your domain and email address all you need to do is change the DNS on your domain to point to our servers then log into your cpanel and setup your email accounts and your email will automatically be sent to our server.
You can use both paypal and Google Checkout
Listing is similar to ebay but you should try out our demo site to really see for yourself. http://www.powersellersunite.com/psustore_admin_demo.php |

Yes you will need a domain name. It can be an existing one you have or you can register a new one. It also doesn't' matter where you got the domain at just as long as you can change the DNS.
Since you are changing your DNS to our servers you don't have to worry about masking the URL. |

A lot of people here use godaddy.com
Just make sure you don't sign up for any of the other stuff they try to offer you. All you need is the doman name. |

I use hostway.com, it cost $7.95 per year. I have never had a problem with them and it is easy to setup your domaine.

I don't care for GoDaddy myself - too many security issues, and I really don't like the um, adult nature mascots!
Anyway - I've been using APlus for a couple of years, but am changing over to www 1and1.com.
They save you a few bucks on the price too!
Just NEVER pay more than $10 for a domain name, no matter where you go. |

PS -
1and1 dot com includes forwarding at no cost, where APlus charges $8.95 per domain per year to forward! |

You can use both paypal and Google Checkout :?:
The Google checkout module is included, paypal is not. You have to use the Virtuemart checkout and you then pay with your paypal account or credit.
I have a query on the discussion boards right now on how to set up Paypal checkout, but it takes API knowledge. Haven't gotten many responses yet. |
