|
|
| Has anyone ever had funds from your daily batches held by Linkpoint merchant secruity? i have had a large increase in my daily batch, usually my batches are $500-$600.00 per day, once a week about $2500.00 per day, I had a $8000.00 batch last week, that went through, but the next day I had one for $600.00 and that is when they started holding my funds. How long do you think they will hold these funds? You cannot talk directly with thier secureity dept, someone please help me. |

Linkpoint isn't the one holding your funds, First data/Card Service is. Have you called them yet or have you been contacted by First Data? They are known for doing this alot but as long as everything your doing is legitimate then they should release your funds shortly. But make sure you call firstdata because you may need to fax invoices in but they WILL NOT call you to tell you this. they wait for you to call them (My sister just recently quit her job at first data and informed me of alot of there shady money making schemes)
Good luck, hope it all works out for you. |

call 1-800-456-5989 and tell them you need to speak to the "Risk Department". Then let them know who you are.
What they are going to do with the invoices is call your clients up and ask them about your company if they really ordered the product, if so did they receive it, are they satisfied etc. Although this is a big pain and can get annoying (to your customers) they usually only do this once.
Once they have contacted every one on the list and are satisfied they will release the funds. |

Hello,
We handle this differently. Although each situation is case-by-case, we generally do not call any clients unless it is needed.
We use authorize.net as our payment gateway which is very similar to the linkpoint gateway. We also work with all major credit card terminal manufactures and we are an ISO/MSP of JP Morgan chase bank. If you would like, i can offer you a discounted rate special we are going to have to the 4th of july but i can pm you the details about it and you can sign up for it early. |

Hate to say it, luxx, but any and every company you will check out will want invoices eventually, with what you sell. Once you can provide proof that the designer handbags are authentic, they should release all funds. Frustrating, I'm sure :-(

| Can you have both linkpoint and authorize.net merchant accounts? And how does your credit score have to look like? |

| Yes, a lot of bigger company have a backup incase of technical problems. Credit score really does not matter unless you have filed for bankruptcy. |

| They want the invoices showing what you paid for the handbags, I would bet, not invoices to your customers...? |

| That is more paypal area asking for you invoices for your products. They do this because they already have the customers information since the customer paid via paypal. |
