I wanted to give an update on why the site was down earlier today. I was doing some site diagnoses and was logging the performance of the database. The log file was being written to a partition that stores temp files. The log file
grew quicker then I thought and it filled up the partition so temp files could no longer be written to it. As you all have noticed this caused some unexpected results when going to the site.

Lesson learned keep a close eye on log files.

PSunite, you do a great job with this place, it's really seldom that I can't get in!

And I must say the screens that popped up this morning were different than any others I had seen before!

I hope you were doing some work on the site yesterday morning too (Monday) as I got the same error screen and couldn't get to the site yesterday for several hours.

I couldn't get into the site yesterday morning either AND my website had some funky stuff on the front page. I couldn't get into the back end of the website either.

I was hoping you were doing some stuff and it hadn't all gone wonky on its own. :)

I had the same or similar errors trying to get on the site yesterday as I had today. We know what caused it today, but what about yesterday??? Hope it isn't anything serious.

It was the same problem yesterday. I didn't know the reason until today.

Well! The difference is that for you it happens at night, and for me it is during high business moment. So that was yesterday and the day before during long long hours: i have to cancel quick the adword campaign, and wait to see if somebody help me. Well It has benn two days lost.

I know in PSU they are working very hard to sort out all of this, but, imagine if you had two days on high peak that nobody can access during hours to your store: you loose bussiness.

Also everyday during 10minutes, 5 minutes, 2minutes or 30 seconds we are at one point: offline.
This is happening since the day we were all off line for a long hours.
I have notice that the 2 first week were very very good in bussiness, and suddenly it has gone very low. Maybe it has nothing to see with the server problem, but I suppose that as a customer if each time you are looking in the site and it goes slow, it is offline, it is with plenty of error message on the site..it doesn't help at all.

Bu well lets hope everything will be ok from now..even if yesterday after all this trouble we have been offline for 1 minute!

I have been monitoring the server closely and things have been running smooth. I am pretty sure I have all the sever related issues resolved.
