| It sure feels dead now days I feel they should at least leave the shameless plugs that form benifited the sellers and buyers. At this point I am wondering just how beneficial it would be to list very much there. :? |

I don't think it feels dead. Page views are up, sales are up. Nobody complaining about what the other person is doing. Just like an auction site is supposed to be like.
Without the chat boards around, maybe theres more time for folks to list items. |

the 1st week or 2 , I got a few sales and triple views & watchers
now its barely any lookers let alone sales I stoped listing anything new been putting them elsewhere past week I have no credit left used it on featuering a few items..
But I agree , at least put the shameless plugs back
maybe the help desk for newbies & wanted ? dont need the cafe but the help boards with limited posts like the shameless was ?
I could give or take the boards themselves wasnt on there 24/7 anyways
occasionaly I went on but did use the wanted & shameless

Then it's time to adjust your SAFE settings TT. I haven't had a NPB at BidVille in a very long time. |

| No matter the post thats post there will always be one that picks it to pieces  Bv is a ghost town due to the fact that there is no way to let anyone there know your there and what your selling .Shameless plug form is needed for just that and that alone as for the chat that as it is can and is being done else were.JOAN I'm so very happy Bv fills your every need .I assume we all need to be just like you and be happy with Bv just the way it is But for me I'm not I been there just as long as you have and I know what I see Bv today is not the Bv it was in the earlier days of sales there needs to be lots of improvement one for instant advertisement and better customer relations. |

Well another store sale so it tells me bidville is feeding google feeds...
Sorry I never felt shameless plugs did much of anything for me...
I find it interesting when I check featured sellers every day, how many of them I have never seen on the boards and they have sales...
Somebody is doing something right without posting to the community boards.
To each his own the site works for me!

Joan - I have no idea how many listings BV has currently and how many are store listings vs. 'auction' listings, but in looking around on Google Products, I did find 97k (+/-) items! You may be onto something!!
Here's a link if ya have interest:
Bidville Listings on Google Products
That's great news!! :D :D |

I think anybody who doesn't have blinders on can see the future Ubid is wanting all the sellers to list on UBId and not so much bidville.
Why so they can get REALLY LARGE and then they may sell bidville to some other company that doesn't know any better that all the sellers are now on ubid
My thoughts what do you think??
or the other option is they close bidville and know you only have ubid |

Well, I guess if it we not meant for us to reply they would take away the reply button.
But on to other things.. If I'm looking for something in BidVille, Ebay, Ecrater or whatever, I don't go to shameless plugs to look for it. I go to the search box. Why would I go to shameless plug and look through page after page after page of plugs when all I have to do is type in what I'm looking for? |

| :P Its good to think you got all the know power I guess but checking feedback on Bv tells all while straving for a last word doesn't make people right the truth still stands a shameless plug form on Bv would bring no harm to a already dead ghost town. I agree with gooddealsbooks and I hope Bv is still here this time next year. |

Joe, I was pretty much kidding about the NPBs.
The thing is though, that if you set your safe settings like that, you miss out on all the new buyers we are hoping will come to BV.
As for shameless plugs, that's only good for folks who are 1.already buyers and know about the SP and 2 buyers who read SP. I never did.
In order for BV to grow, sellers are going to have to draw in new buyers from the outside world. SP doesn't do that. |
