| In one of the other topics, I though someone said BidVille listings are being fed to Google. I thought that meant I should be able to see my listings at BidVille by searching with Google. I can't. Is there some trick to doing it? |

I thought they stopped doing the google feeds a long time ago. I've never found my BV items there.

| I think it comes and goes. I've seen some items from BV sellers on occasion, and then they stop. It's not consistent... |

Good morning!
Nothing is consistent at BV other than the abusive cheerleading and poor management. That never seems to change. |

| Google feeds are working for items in your store and items with a Take it price. It usually takes a couple of days to appear but they do appear. |

Yes the Google feeds are working as Joe says take it and the stores..
Have seen mine come up many a time.
I do use the google alert and put in different items that I want to see info on and have mine come up a ton of times. So it's working. |

Google feeds from BV are not working like they should be . I have 160 auctions running on Bidville, with take it price, and only 2 show up in Google search.
The 2 that show up are featured auctions.(waste of money BTW)
I have also checked other sellers items in google search and most if not all do not show up. |

osu2412 - I also went to BV's home page and also to Joan's store. I searched for 25+ items with 'exact title' in Google Products and not 1 showed up. I used about 10 featured from the home page area and the balance were Joan's.
Also, if you put 'bidville' in as your search on google products, you get items from ecrater and cafe press.
Lastly, if I search 'google' for these same products, I can't get them to appear either.
So - I do not think it's working. All 'google' search results for bidville are either corporate in 'content' or 'forum' discussions - no products or items. |

It's scant comfort but at least I'm not the only one having trouble.
Does anyone know how to make Google Base items point at BidVille auctions?
I've read through the Help Pages but they're not clear. They offer instructions on adding links but they're not clear on how to make a click on the item go right to the auction page. |

| The only way to be sure is to submit them to google yourself. You can list them on a spreadsheet, or do them manually. I've experimented with it quite a bit to see what gets more pageviews. |

I just went to my store and took the titles of about 6 items and put them in google search and they came out on the front page of google search about 3 or 4 down along with a lot of other things I have.
so not too sure what you mean, seems to me every item I sell in store is going to show on google search, and says the google feed is being fed from Bidville, not from me.

Have you listed an auction or store item on Google Base?
How did you link the Google listing to the auction? |

| i have listed 400+ items myself, but kinda cut back, since I am seeing all the items fed from ecrater directly showing up-no reason to waste my time. But it is very easy to create a link to your store or auctions. Just go to google and check, the directions are very clear. And with BV, this may be the only way to get your items on google. |

After a bit of searching, I found the answer to my question.
Linking directly from search results to websites or auctions is possible for items listed with the bulk loader. Items listed individually with the web form can include a link on the Google-hosted page but can't be linked directly from search results to websites or auctions. |
