NEW HIGH 1,073,000

Up 20,000 since I posted this last month. Can Bidville top 1,100,000 by the end of next month?

Well I keep adding to items in store and auction so don't see why not, and so many new sellers I'm noticing, that's great with me...

Justjoan I tend to agree with you. I think bidville is slowly growing.

people complain they are not advertising etc. It takes revenue to advertise and Bidville revenue will increase with more auctions listed and the FVF from these closed auctions.

Oneday I hope I can exclude Epay from my business plan.

I know not many auctions are closing but you have to give shoppers a variety of auction listings. I believe the more listings Bidville can offer the more customers we will see. The 1 million mark was huge but 2.5 million might get Ubids attention. Best of luck!!!

Oh I feel Bidville is bringing in good revenue, now that they have those big banner ads at top of listings and the google ads at the bottom...
And that's showing me a lot.

I keep getting steady sales on the site, and with the take it feature, I'm getting google feeds on my items...
I like the site the user friendly of it all, and enjoy selling there.
All other sites I have tried, the items just sit and go nowhere....

Where are you getting those statistics from? Also considering BV had some outages recently I think that's a good sign.

I just came from a Bidville chat board. Some of the members are saying that for the last few days they are having trouble listing, loading pictures, and the site being down completely. Could someone please tell me how Bidville's listing are going up? I see it on the charts, but I don't understand how.

I may be dreaming, but I asked a similar question as Trout above me - how can listings be going up when the site is not available? I just don't understand it.

I also posted (or dreamed that I did) - Joan...I went to your store and searched specifically for 10 of your items about 10-14 days ago - and they nor any others were showing in Google Products. Where are you finding your items? I can't find ANY bidville listings in Google Products or Google itself.

So - have your items and other BV items just recently started showing up?

Now as far as site being down at times, a lot of sellers use the bulk loader etc and can upload a ton of auctions fast.
I can relist items very fast, and just listing items in the store can be extremely fast.
Not sure about anybody else...how they do it.
So it's not hard to bring the total up...

I listed 100 + items yesterday in about 2 hours. That's including the time to put them in the bulk loader individually, add pics and upload.
CSV files can be prepped and imported into the loader, finessed and uploaded in a matter of minutes if you know how to set them up right. But it is so easy to make a costly mistake, I suggest you go over each auction before uploading.
I know of one case where someone listed 200 -300 items with Front page feature checked (a $5.00 option) unknowingly and did not appreciate the $hugh bill he got from BidVille. They worked it out and he kept the listings and Bidville ate the loss.

Joan - I think our findings differ as I use google products when I shop vs. just google search. I have never searched for products using google - only information...

Great for all who are actively selling - if they are showing up in google - that might help - you all should suggest they submit to 'products' tho - it's much better views/visibility! :D :D
