BidPay launched an API that lets third-party vendors integrate the online-payment service into their eBay Checkout offerings. Sellers who use auction-listing tools with the BidPay integration can offer buyers the choice of using BidPay right at checkout as they complete their eBay transactions.
BidPay said sellers should ask their auction-management providers when and if they plan to integrate the online payment service since the API was launched just last week.

ust received notice fron BisPay about lower fees.
Domestic Transactions: 2.19% + $0.25/txn

International Transactions: 2.9% + $0.25/txn

The change seems to be quite small but is indicative of an increasingly more competitive environment for payment processing.
With GC currently the low cost leader - even in upcoming 2008 with 2% minus credit for adwords spending - Moneybookers with guarantueed funds and no cost for sellers outside currency conversion the merit of merchant card processing becomes more questionable.
Experiences like 6.5% on a US$ payment from Belgium make me take another look at the situation.
