Bidville was being constantely b _ _ _ hed about but now for the past four days they been up and running like a real auction site.. maybe this transition period they are always talking about might be coming to a head.. A little advertising will draw more sellers and buyers to this really nice and easy to use auction site.. I think it's time for positive comments to start hitting the message boards for Bidville.

I'll say something nice about bidville. I have never had a NPB on that site.

Good job Postman..by my count 23 or your auctions have bids and will be successful! I have one question though, I see you have a lot of "take it" auctions. Do you find people tend to "take it" or they generally bid?

Hi scbeachbum,
Mostly by bids. I have a lot of take it now because these are auctions that got little view hits or no interest.. When a auction runs 5 times without a buyer it gets a nice reduction in price and gets to stay in TIN till someone comes along looking for instant bargain postcards..

The one problem I find hard on Bidville is to get a good gauge of users/people using the site and viewing auctions and completing purchases? Have you noticed any increase/decrease in traffic in your opinion? I've somewhat new to the site, but one of the collectibles categories I watch (coins) I've noticed about a 20% bump in listings in the last month or so, so I'll take that as a good sign in that non-sports card categories seeem to be growing and people feel more comfortable listing on BV. That being said the only problem is most people still don't know BV exists.

Over 500 sales, 157 feedbacks, 65 unique..

And alot fo the time I have had only a few items listed. Now I'm pushing things more, we will see how it goes.

Alot of folks don't leave FB here, so I quit leaving them until I receive it. But that's a whole different topic.

The numbers aren't fantastic, but I don't do sports cards and thats what BV is really known for.

Figure you'd be happy to leave a customer a feedback, even if they don't return the favor. At the very least it builds up their rating, might encourage them to leave feedback and not be so lazy, and also makes them feel like they are "rated" higher on BV, so they'll be more likely to use the site in the future, which comes around full circle in increased users/sales for everyone.

Yep, I thought that for a long time, but was proven otherwise by customers that wouldn't even say Thanks, or whatever.
