I have an associate who uses Ioffer.com to sell products on.

I would appreciate any comments concerning this - good, bad, indifferent.

Does your friend sell counterfeit items, illegal prescription drugs or pornography?

If your answer is no, then why would they waste their time on iOffer?
I dont' know about prescription drugs, but ioffer's definitely a safe haven for counterfeit designer purse sellers. This one is making a fortune. Do all those suckers actually think they're getting the real thing?

I used to sell videos on ioffer.com. You guys are right about the non-payers. It was ridiculous. You have to wait about 3 weeks to file a NPB and I think you had to do it before 45 days were up and you had to send the deadbeat 2 or 3 invoices, even if you knew they were never going to pay. It took a long time to get a refund of the selling fee.

But my main point is about their C.O.P.S. thing. There is a seller on there named "bluemanshines". He sells Ellery Queen, Snoop Sisters, Johnny Sokko and Ben Casey. And he sells them for unbelievably astronomical high prices. Over $100 for some. He has somehow tricked ioffer into believing he is the copyright owner on all these shows and be a "C.O.P." He regularly scours the internet for anyone selling the same shows he sells. On ioffer, he removes your listing, eliminating the competition.
He does the same thing on ebay and has somehow tricked them into him being a VERO member. He again claims to own the copyrights to the shows, which is ridiculous. His about me page on ebay goes into long, boring detail how he records the shows to DVD-R or VideoCD (a primitive format). Ebay has a policy against DVD-R in the first place and says it right there in plain sight. He has gotten away with this for years while thousands of other similar sellers have been removed. Bluemanshines' seller names on ebay are roadsuccess and rosewranch. He has a website but it's broken. He was selling on ecrater as bluemanshines but appears to have been suspended. His real name is James Rose and lives in Garland, TX, a suburb of Dallas but on ioffer, he calls his store Mike's Place. I contacted one ebay buyer of his and he said that he was requested to send his payment to a General Delivery address! I thought only homeless people did that. His real street address is available by searching a whois of his site rosewranch.com.
This is just one example of a certified bootlegger pulling the wool over the big boys' eyes and getting away with selling cheap, inferior bootlegs day in and day out. Just google any of the usernames I have you here and you'll see complaints about him scattered all over. But to this day, he continues to sell on ebay and ioffer.

I have tried to show ioffer that he is doing this and keep getting the run around. They say there cops have the last word. But there cops are the one corrupt. One day they will learn

The people purchasing the counterfeit LV & Coach purses know exactly what they are purchasing. Where there is a market for such items, there will be sellers of such items. Personnally, if the seller has enough guts to state they are replicas and not mislead, I would buy one if that is what I was into. Most of the higher quality counterfeits are made in China in the same factory as the originals.
