Just noticed as I was putting new auctions in that the little photo on the right now shows when you submit a picture..never seen it work before...Guess it shows that there is still life at Bidville and someone is working behind the scene... Just hope that this continues into other areas like a little advertising...Still makes me want to holler YEAH !! ..Really happy to see something new. :D

I think that's been there for a while postman. I've been listing stuff over there more off than on for over 2 years and sold (1) item.
I'd be more excited to see NATIONWIDE marketing this time of year for the BV auction site than some mere improvement. |

Good Morning elgato..... Just to follow up...The box where the picture shows stayed empty after you submitted your picture. The only time you seen what pictures you submitted was when you previewed the auction before submitting. I'm one of the lucky ones whose buyers followed me over from Yahoo so I'm satisfied that I'm on the same level as I was on Yahoo or even a little better.. Anything is better than nothing....

Seems like maybe Postcards and Sports cards do OK at BV. Everything else is so-so at best.
I've been at the site for nearly 2 years and only had 1 sale and not even many page views. So about 6 weeks ago I let my listings expire. For me it's a case of "why bother ?" It's not like I didn't give the site a decent chance. 2 years is long enough of a trial to know that BV doesn't work "for me".

Bidville needs to submit our items to Google. That hasn't happened in quite some time now.
That is the least they could do since they do charge fees and don't advertise. |

Thanks for answering my question, LOL Was looking for an additional site with some action but no sales makes me shiver. Wearing a bit thin with me of late. So many sites & so few buyers it seems, even feebay seems dead?
Was leafing thru the Sunday paper today & makes me wonder who exactly I'm hoping will buy from me when it seems every department store is literally giving things away (30% or 40% off). Most mail order firms have free shipping which I can't afford to offer. May need more than another site, LOL |

I still have listings at Bidville but I closed my store and no longer do the gallery. Now there are no costs unless I sell something -- not much danger there.
