I was trying to explain this (or discuss with) to a fellow
power seller just yesterday..Also what about the
COST of his/her item?? That isn't even listed, is it??
Sellers selling items say less than $10.00 are gonna
lose money BIG TIME, THAT sort of leaves the "little guy"
out don't it??!! :(

Someone emailed me earlier concerned about the boycott because he just listed 60 items because he didn't know about the boycott. Below is my response. He replied back wishing us luck and he hopes that the boycott makes a positive difference. So I think even people that are listing those days still think this is a good cause.

Sorry that you just now heard of the boycott. We defiantly do not want to
hurt the sellers. That is why the boycott was announced a long time ago
to let sellers know in advance to not put any items up during that time.

We know boycotting ebay feb 18th - feb 25th is a lot to ask for from some
people. Lots of people depend on ebay for a source of income. That is
why we encourage others to take that week off ebay and take the time to
look at some alternative auction sites. We really don't think anyone is
going to be really hurt or go out of business for this short week of
boycotting.

Don’t worry there will be plenty of people that will bid on your auctions.
There are still millions of people that don’t care about the fee increase
and will stick with ebay. I take it your not too concerned either if you
just posted a large amount of items before the increase.

The goal is not to try and bring down ebay that would be impossible we
just want to express our feelings to ebay peacefully that we are unhappy
about their fee increase. We want to let ebay know that it is the people
that make ebay and they should think twice next time they try to raise
fees..
