Shares of online U.S. retailer Amazon.com rose more than 2 percent on Wednesday after the online retailer said the 2007 holiday season was its strongest since it opened in 1994.
On December 10, its busiest day during the current season, Amazon said shoppers ordered more than 5.4 million items, or 62.5 items per second.
By comparison, the busiest day of the holiday season in 2006 was December 11, when customers ordered more than 4 million items, according to its Web site.

I'm not surprised, I had barley half my items there and sold something every 2 hours with no hassles. Much easier than ebay!

Very happy to hear about our users making $$ over at Amazon.com!
Please keep us updated from time to time.
I'm kind of interested if there's a peak season over there, or just year round good sales, plus like most places, I guess it depends on what you sell. |

I'm just starting to explore Amazon. I do participate in their affiliate program but I do not have any items listed there. I just posted a blog entry about their affiliate program and their free aStore.

I'm excited to hear of sellers having good success there. I'll have plenty of time to get set up before the 2008 holiday season. Any advice from current Amazon merchants? |
