I'm not sure how many others have caught this, but I've seen this more than once already. For whatever reason, a buyer buys and pays via paypal and gives himself a few dollar discount. Both times it was only about $5, but they had no reason to discount the order. Do any programs you guys use catch this? I assume if I was doing bigger numbers it would be pretty simple to slip one through.
The most recent one discounted $5, I catch it and send him a paypal request explaining what it's for and why. No payment and no response, 2 days later I get an email from him asking when he should expect his item to arrive. Are you serious? Arggghh.. Sometimes I wonder where the line is between scammers and genuinely dumb people. |
