| This will be the first of many DUMB questions by me to be sure. I'm trying to get set up & realize the first step is to get a domain name. I've heard Godaddy suggested by many. So what do I do? I have their site pulled up. Do I have to register an account with them & then select my domain name? Then when I go to register it with PSU do I just put that domain name under where it says "Enter your domain name". OR do I put that domain name under where it says "I will provide my own domain". I know this is a stupid question. I'm just a tad bit intimidated. |

Register a domain name at godaddy. Make sure you ONLY get the domain name. They will bombard you with all types of other offers that you don't need during the checkout process. You should walk out of there spending $9.99 for a domain name.
You can try using some of the promo codes here http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/725207 for 10% off
When you register for PSU put your domain name where it says "Enter your domain name" and then hit search. It will probably say that the domain name is already taken since you just registered it then click on the submit button. |

| Great, & thanks for the quick response. Not sure if I should post this to another topic or here so I'll try here first. On ebay I use Inkfrog to host my pictures so that when people click on my items they get big high resolution pictures. Will I be able to use my inkfrog pictures in my webstore with PSU? |

It is cheaper and safer to use 1and1.com for your domain registration.
I am not a fan of GoDaddy.
Plus, you can get free domain forwarding at 1and1. |
