| I clicked on the BV homepage to check out featured items. Well the ad at the top of the page was in my opinion a little risque. Has anyone else seen this ad? I could see it for maybe the folks signing in for adult items but not for the opening page of BV. Just another bad move on the part of ownership I guess. I was just curious as too if anyone else had seen it and the thoughts on it. I believe it was for a dating service of some kind. |

Haven't really seen that one, I don't think.
I think it's a package deal on the banners, no pick or chose, they are given so many to load in and they show up for so long...
I really got tired of the dancing Santas past Christmas, and a lot of them will drive you nuts, but if they are putting the Bidville banner out there same as these to other areas I guess I can live with it. |

| I think you would have remembered seeing this one. It actually looked like an ad for an adult site. I refresed the page...left and came back and it just stayed there. It was only on the main page. I reported it to google as not being appropriate for the page is was on. If you look at the bottom right corner of the banner there is a place for feedback. Click there and it takes you to google to leave feedback about the ad. The banners don't really bother me but this one was just too much. I've noticed that many times they are related to what type of item you are looking at. Looking at handbags brings up a purse ad etc. Oh well, I haven't seen it again so maybe it's gone. |

Sounds like your reporting to google must have worked.
Yes very much I will see ads that relate to what I'm looking at, or worse what I'm selling too. |

EGADS I think I just saw the ad you are talking about, DATE ME or something like that.
How close to porn can an ad look..I reported it also to Goggle, this does not in any way belong on an auction site that children can read..
Call me an ol bitty but egads!!!!!!!!!! |
