Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone out there is having more success on Craigslist than me ... I am not doing bad but I am looking to improve ... Any input would be appreciated as I'm new to CL and I think I could really be doing it a lot better ... Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, just wondering how you are making out on eCrater? I am brand new to it and wonder is it even worth the time to give it a shot as I don't want to spend time on something that is clearly headed for trouble such as Overstock and uBid ... Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

There is no comparison. Ecrater has a very ethical, concerned, and actively involved owner.
As for sales, it's up to you how much time you want to spend promoting your store-and that's what determines the sales. Take the time to go to the community forums and read the threads on promotion, meta tags, feeds, etc. Lots of good information and helpful members. |

As with all "alternative" sites, I'm always concerned
about the time invested listing items versus sales.
I prefer open formats where I can copy and paste
large lists of items for sale.
Craigslist, groups, forums, blogs, etc. allow you to
do this without investing serious time listing items.
Ebay, blujay, ecrater, google base/products, etc.
have their own submission forms requiring hours to
list individual items, titles, etc. |
