Hello everyone
We updated our Ebay Fee Chart at http://www.powersellersunite.com/ebayfeechart.php

You can compare your fees with the current and old fee structure to see if you would have saved any money after the new fee policy.

Please let me know if you find any errors so I can correct them.

So, provided all the calculations are accurate, the only eBay sales on which sellers will save fees in the new system are:

Stores items $100 and up or less than $2

Auction items that sell at less than $9
Auction items that sell at less than $12 if started at $10+

Wow, sure is some hefty fee reduction there.

Emails are deleted and forgotten quickly! We need to let everyone know what eBay is doing and why it is wrong. Fliers I thought would be a good idea, but local libraries and post-office won't allow them. Saying that they have to stay neutral. Nutless Bureaucratic wonders :x

SO WHY NOT College Post Boards? They clean those things off only once in a blue moon.

And other Post Boards within the view of the public and cleaned off seldomly.

EBay is huge corporate juggernaut and has unlimited resources at there disposal. We need to get out the message of BOYCOTT by any means. NO vandalize, or destruction :x :!: ! GOT IT!!!!

Fliers, banners, and I just got this idea  as I was typing. Media sources! Radio requests, Talk Radio, Live TV shows that allow call-ins from the public. If the news of the BOYCOTT and the reasons for it get out to the general public it will get Media attention, because it will be NEWS!

Have to give it to EBAY thought they time this BS with the Presidentional Primaries perfectly. Slick Greedy PIGS!

IMO, you should put a input box for STR, so that the numbers will be more relevant for every different seller.

Dear Site Adm:

Also, the MINIMUM FVF on Buy It Now & Fixed Priced listings is $1.00. For example, if you sold a book for 1.00 as a BIN, you would pay 1.00 FVF, plus your listing fees (and then probably PP fees)--you'd be seriously in the red! This appears on eBay fees page, and very little sellers know about this fee increase (appears as a ** near bottom of FVF Fees page!).

Thanks!

Angelia :D

This 1.00 minimum has been misinterpreted.
The 1.00 minimum applies ONLY to Fixed Price and BIN STARTING PRICE. You can't start a FP or BIN for less than 1.00. The FVFs on these items still remain at 8.25%

Look closely: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html

**Fixed Price listings and the Buy it Now feature have a minimum price of $1.00.

The ** are next to the starting price...NOT the FVF amount.

Thanks RiverRat,

Yes, I guess that was misinterpreted (I passed that information on from another board).

If I understood right, you can no longer list a BIN or FP for less than $1.00? No more of those "bargain" BIN or FP for .01?

Thanks!

I've seen it posted more than once, so you weren't the only one!

Yes, that should do away with the .01 BIN and FP listings. I think it's a good thing.

Thanks again RiverRat!

I never did a .01 auction because then I would of had to inflate my S/H charges, in turn possibly lowering my DSR, and also it is unfair to the Buyer.

Have a beautiful day!

My math sucks. Doesn't 8.75 + 2.9 =11.65%. Which means if I buy an item for $4, sell it for $10, ebay fvf's + listing fee+ paypal fee+my cost mean I get roughly $4 for all my time and trouble?
And doesn't that mean I have to sell 30 items per day to make a poverty level living after the IRS gets their cut? Can I get food stamps on this program?

I spent a few hours on the eBay fee chart trying to figure out why my control form was coming up with store fees different than PSU's fees. I thought I was going to have to revamp my auction selling forms financial data due to a major oversight on my part, but no. PSU is using a flat rate of $8.00 for the $25.01-$100.00 range instead of 8% for the range which would be 0.0008 cents at the $25.01 start with a maximum 8% of $74.99 for the $100 cutoff or $5.9992. On a $149.00 store item, the PSU chart shows a $13.95 FVF which should correctly read $3 for the first $25.00, $6.00 for the $74.99 and $1.96 on 4% of $48.99 ($149.00-$100.01) for a total FVF of $10.96. Listing fees are not included. Your Excel spreadsheet incorrectly adds $2.00 more using the $8.00 flat rate instead of the variable 8%; PSU's present eBay FVF should show an incorrect $12.96, but shows $13.95, a further difference of $.99 which I am unable to determine the origin of. All the store FVFs appear to be similarly affected. It's important to correct these ASAP as PSU's credibility can be called into question by eBay as an independent news media source for accurate information. The auction and fixed price listings appear accurate.

Welcome to PSU Midday - glad you're here.

I hadn't used the chart here, as I was playing with it elsewhere.

Good catch - I'm certain PSU will be grateful.... :D :D

I see the $8.00 partial FVF has been corrected to read $6.00 at the blue top section for eBay store fees, however the $149.00 example I used now shows an incorrect $6.35 in fees. This should read as $3 for the first $25.00, $6.00 for the $74.99 and $1.96 on 4% of $48.99 ($149.00-$100.01) for a total FVF of $10.96. Listing fees are not included. If you want to forward the Excel file on store FVFs to me at MRL@Midday.com, I may be able to assist you on where the formula errors need correcting.

Tell me..........when you say the new, "cheaper" fees, knocking a nickle off here and a nickle off there, did anyone else start singing:

Well, if I had a nickle
For every time that I've been put on
I would be the Nickle Man
And I'd sing the Nickle Song

You're only puttin' in a Nickle
And you want a Dollar Song!
You're only puttin' in a Nickle
And you want a Dollar Song!!!!!!!!!!!
