I've been trying all day to upload pictures for my auctions... Anyone one else having this problem...

I too have not been able to upload pictures all day at Bidville. I have tried several times and have tried reducing the size of my pictures also. I just keep getting a message to try again. I finally gave up and listed my items in my store at http://sasswbe.ioffer.com. I tried a while ago and it still wasn't working so gave up and worked on my web site at
http://sasswbe-books.com. I think Bidville needs to do some work on their site if they want to keep sellers coming. :oops:

DAY 2--Can't Upload Photos
Really hate it when they totally ignore all messages I send them..You would think that they would at least have the courtesy to announce what they are doing... This is probably the worst run auction site on the Internet owned by UBID |

I have never used Bidville, but I sure have seen a lot of posts made about them. Wonder why they dont communicate with their members.
Weird.
Welp, I am happy with Bidcorral, so I think I will stick with them.
I had no idea Bidville was a UBID site. Thanks for the heads up! |

Bidville is the worst auction site
I'm saying this primarily because they suspended me for absolutely no reason
They won't return my messages and won't explain anything to me
The only message that I received one them was the one that said 1412 of my auctions (all of them) had ended. I can Rapid Relist them by going to TrackPal
Since I've been suspended, I can't even to to my Trackpal.
To tell you the truth, I had horrible results selling on Bidville. Time to check out other sites who actually value me as a member. A site who actually communicates with me. |

| I wouldn't even give them a second thought but for some reason when I sided up they gave me a $5.00 credit which I was going to use up. But if I can't download pictures guess they will get to keep their credit. Just can't figure out how they got up so high on the chart with the poor service they have and nothing working. |

| Hi sasswbe-books.... The same thought was running through my mind..How are their numbers going up since you can't put a picture on your auction.... Sounds like a Ebay trick... I wrote them and Ubid and got the standard form letters back telling me it's probably my fault..I've uploaded thousands of pictures without a problem and have changed nothing.. I just submitted a auction with no pictures and it accepted it and now its running...I've seen this same problem before on Bidville and eventually it gets fixed but I would still like to know if all these new auctions going in are pictureless... |

| Hi postman - Your guess is as good as mine how the numbers keep going up? I also sent an email to Bidville but haven't gotten a reply yet and am not holding my breath while waiting (I'm too old I probably would pass out). I won't list without a photo - stuff just does not sell good without a picture. I wish another auction site would take a big climb. I like ioffer but it's a set price and some of the stuff I have usually goes higher than the set price. I was going to try Bidville again today as it seemed like it was running faster but if you listed without a picture it must not be working. Well either I will go work on my web site and add more SD books or find more to put on ioffer. Have a good evening. |

| I have been trying to Upload Photos at Bidville Since Sunday, I have emailed them 3 days in a row, with NO REPLY BACK. I don't get it. If they want to make Money, their Photo Images have to work properly and shouldn't be down for 3 Days. I use photo Bucket too, but I also like to use Bidville's Image Hosting. So what can we do, but sit and wait. I think they are ALL OUT TO LUNCH, PERMANENTLY. |

| Oh I also forgot to mention to everyone here reading this. BIDVILLE is notorious for having problems with their Image Hosting. I am an Original Old Time member of that site and have sold On a regular basis since they were called AUXPAL. Anyhow, this happens about 40 times or so a year with their Photo Uploader, BUT usually they get it fixed in about 24 hours, but this is WAY TOO LONG. |

I tried sending them another message using their returned response to me and that's not even working now..getting the same message "try again later...looks like Bidville is having a meltdown... really a bad time for this to be happening for me.. I finally got my auction site jumping and I can't feed it anything new... :cry:

Today is the 4th Day the Photo Uploaded Has Been Down, I emailed Bidville 4 Times yesterday to let them know they need to fix this. I have been emailing them since Sunday when it first went out.
I have not heard from them at all. I wonder if it will ever get fixed? They are losing Business each day by this not working. |

I just got off the phone with them over at Ubid and they say they are aware of the problem and are working on it. We'll see....
BTW, customer service is very friendly and was very willing to talk to me. Maybe if more of us actually call more might get done. Just a thought. |
