| Im thinking of starting a PSU store,How many hours would it take to get it from start to finish if i listed about 100 items?How hard is it?Please help...Chuck |

That all depends on you. If you want to do a lot of customization then it will take longer to setup the store. If you want to leave things similar to the default and just change wording on it you can get your store up pretty fast.
For loading products if you are pretty good and working with bulk loading files they you can bulk load 100 items in an instant. If you have to do it one at a time it can take a while.

It really depends on how quickly you learn the software.
Basically, all you do is change values in data fields. You must choose a template and start making changes you want to it. Then start plugging in information to configure your site. Knowing what I know now, it would take about an hour, but when I first started, it took at least 8 hours. And this is just to have it up and running. I am still learning and making changes as I find out something new.
Overall, the biggest problem for me was learning the terminology.
As far as listing 100 items, even now, that would be the most time consuming part for me. Although the software has bulk listing capability, I still upload to my web site manually. For me, listing one item is the same as listing one item in my old Ebay store.
If all of the information is reading to go, I can list it in 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. |
