I have a site http://drbid.com I have registered this site initially in 2003 bought the software and did nothing.
I have now launched the site and in order to get users I have decided to buy up sites that may have done the same thing as I, but may not have the dollars or interest to continue.
I have registered most TLDs for Drbid, so Your name is of little value to me, however your users are.
I will pay a little extra if your site runs of phpprobid software to cover the licensing costs.
send my your info by PM
Thanks
Paul David

Thanks,
I started through the list just choosing the "auction sites" and so far ALL are no longer online.
I am looking for the site owner who has an operating site but wants out.
As soon as you approach someone unsolicited.... their expectation of price skyrockets!
Thanks for your input, I will continue through the list!

I really don't know where to ask this question, so I'll slip it in here.

Does BuyItSellIt work like eCrater? In other words, you have a store that is part of a collection of stores, and your Google Search results kick the buyer to the BuyItSellIt main site rather to your own store?

Thanks--- Hope my question is clear enough.---

OMG - please buy Bidville!!! And make it better! I would go back to selling there in a heartbeat if I knew it wasn't deteriorating. :)

You would need pretty deep pockets to buy bidville and I think his interest is closing down the site and inviting the members to his new site.

true. :( But if I had the money to invest - Bidville is guaranteed! It's already got the high listing #s, and the large, dedicated members. I really hope SOMEONE buys it. uBid just let it go to pot. :(

Not sure. But it was mentioned in a recent press release that they are thinking about selling it, since it doesn't fit with their business model. (or something like that).

The OP apparently wants the user list which was what Ubid wanted when they bought Bidville. And the domain name to redirect to his main site. Many past buyers would not know that the old site is closed and have their bookmark still present. Or sellers who USED to sell there.

Sounds like a good approach to me if the price was right.
