Hello all! I am new to the site. I found you guys by trying to find info on setting up a merchant account on ebay, bypassing paypal. I've been having a lot of trouble with them. Their fees are to high. And, being a dropshipper, Paypal tends to freeze your funds when you need them the most.
So, that's why I'm here. I need to know how to setup a merchant account for my ebay store and bypass paypal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!! |

First things first. Do you already have a Merchant Account provider?
If not, try: http://www.cardservice.com/
Be forewarned that with a merchant account you don't usually have access to your funds for 3 days.
Then you have a couple of choices as far as processing your eBay payments. You can choose to sign up with one of the auction service providers such as Channel Advisor, ProStores (owned by eBay), etc. After you sign up with one of these services, you will be able to redirect your buyers thru them and accept credit card payments.
Your other choice is to set up your own link for buyers to click on where they can go and complete payment. Warning: This can be difficult!
Also...IF you have your own merchant account, eBay now requires you to fax in proof of same before you can offer it in your listings.

Frankie....
have you got the merchant key from linkpoint ?
Tell me where you are with trying to do this and I will see if I can help you out.
Ours has been installed for awhile and works fine so I should be able to tell you what to do once I know where you are at in the process.
I am going to PM you and send my email.
