It took Overstock.com almost a day to react to a frustrated seller who posted profanities in his Overstock Auctions user profile and on the site's Technical Discussions board.
The seller, mistuff4yu, apologized to other users, saying he was unable to close his account and hoped they would report him. "My posts are still up and I am not even suspended yet," he wrote Tuesday at 1:41 pm, almost 2 hours after his first pleas to be suspended because he could not get the company to close his account. He wrote that he was 16 years old.

Age & profanity aside they expected a reaction from O in a day? :shock:
Holy heck that person needs to get their mind right. It took me months to close my O acct - their csr reps repeatedly claimed they couldn't do it. btw I owed O nothing, no auctions listed & I even had $50+ in listing credits. Just a heads up when O finally closed my auction account they continued to house my credit card info on the retail site. |

I saw all the post the "16 year-old" had posted.
I don't believe the person was 16 .......... was just being sarcastic to a remark someone else had made.
Apparently PB spends more time on the boards than anyone else.
As for the 'board monitor" ............ don't believe there is one anymore.
Some post lately have been quite 'critical' of Overstock and their O-Team ........ but it just slides right by. Some of the remarks were the types of remarks that got many of the "old timers" permanently banned.
While the auction side continues to remain active, but it certainly gives the appearance that nothing is being done and no one really is taking an active interest in what is going on there. |

You mean folks such as I BFD???? Old timers? :lol: No offense taken my amigo but it appears the O auctions beloved forums are asleep nowadays.
Wonder if they've quit listing and monitoring over there? 8)
As most know, all I did was point out how childish and mismanaged the auction site & forums were being handled and it got be banned :roll:
At least I'm not wasting any more listing fees over there :roll: |
