I also have sent four requests for the same thing, refund of my pre-paid store fee's, I did send my requests asking for a "proof of recieving my e-mail" once they opened the e-mails, and they did get them usually the same day , but still no refund.

Honest truth, I just recieved an e-mail from them, 10 minutes ago, asking me to prove I pre-paid for 3 months store fee's, I just e-mailed them back and told them where to look in my profile charges, I just checked it is still there.

Bidville may be gone, but the owner corporation of record is still in operation. They are liable for any necessary refunds sans bankruptcy declaration.

This is really freaky..I write to Ubid/Bidville and get no replies.. Then a little while ago I posted a message here about refunds from BV and at 4:30 pm est I get this email...
Dear George,

We prorated your store refund and added the FSF refund to equal $37.67. This credit was issued directly back to the credit card used to pay for the store fee.

Sincerely,

Bidville Customer Service

I checked my CC but nothing is showing yet..I guess I have to give it some time..

I had a bunch of prepaid credits, when I was suspended for nothing more than the board wars- they some how got wiped out. :roll: I think, I even had some that were given to me by Hillbilly during some contest we had. those too were history. either way, I don't suspect I'll ever see any of my money again. I have to agree with TT, I don't think anyone is going to see their money refunded.

In my case I have no record to prove it, so I'm out of luck, but those who do- I definately wouldn't sit still for it.

I'm hoping you all do get it back. eventually.

PJ;

Your account is like mine: OFF TOPIC they said that the former owners GAVE THEM CREDITS FOR FREE:

Dear John:

You will not be refunded that amount. The prior owners of Bidville gave enhancement credits to their customers. We will not be refunding them. Sorry.

So unless you have sometype of proof I think your out of getting paid anything. Now if someone wants to join in a joint clam then by all meens please ad me to the list as I had available at Bidville: $2,171.50 ** which in turn is NOT a sum of cash out of my pockets it is a prorated kind of thing I did ask Cuff if she remembered what they were, $10.00 for $100.00 I do not have it anywhere and I have looked for it.

Yes, I know. That's why I said that "I was out of luck"- I don't have proof.

Trying to go after it- I think would be a waste of time. I've been over it for awhile now, no point in dredging up the stress, I have other things to be concerned about these days.
