I am considering opening a PSU site and I would be listing many books and was wondering about stating shipping charges.
With books many sellers use fixed shipping except on very large or heavy books. Can fixed shipping be used on a PSU website? If not, how is it done? Also, can shipping discounts be used on combined items?
Many thanks,

Not sure about the discount thing, but I use fixed shipping rates on both my sites. I think it's less confusing for the customer & me trying to figure out the whole post office synch etc.
You can set your own shipping rate charges that carry over to paypal or google checkout. I haven't had any problems with mine.

You can do fixed shipping and also shipping based on the total cart value. You can also offer free shipping if the cart is over a certain amount.
I am not sure what specific shipping discounts you want to give for combined products. Hopefully some of the above options will work for you. |

We sell a variety of items that range in size and weight. Does anyone know if PSU stores has a shipping calculator that ties into the post office? I can't seem to find the answer to that in the help files. We are looking to move most of our stuff into our own website shopping cart but can't seem to find one that will work for our needs.
Thanks to anyone that can answer me.
