cohibastore.com under Ecommerce Details on the left side bar here. There is a demo store sign in under the admin demo then go to store and under products is the csv section and I think you can see what you want to know.

Got it, and it's not broken into columns, it's just one continuous line
~product_sku~^~product_files_file_name~^~product_files_file_title~^~product_files_file_description~^~product_files_file_url~^~product_files_file_published~
is this correct/proper/the way its supposed to be. My yahoo bulk CSV was in columns

you can change he format by editing the import/export template.
The reason that it isn't in "columns" is because it is not comma separated. You can replace ^ with , and it will show in columns in excel. The reason that commas are not used as default is because some product titles or descriptions can contain commas in it which will confuse the bulk load |

I'm not sure about Excel, but in OpenOffice, when you do an "import" of a CSV file you have the option to specify what is used as the delimiter. If you then put in the ^ it should load in the columns.
That's smart that you used something other than a comma for the CSV export.
That has been my pet peeve for years with the PHP bulk loader. It uses a comma and nothing imports properly at all. I've tried to tell them to use something else, but it always falls on deaf ears. Commas are just too common in writting to be usefull for a CSV file that is more than a bunch of columns of numbers.

CS,
The csv file from the PSU store can be as compatible to your yahoo store export as you like. You can copy/paste into the columns. There's a sample file posted in the PSU stores forum someplace, or there's a couple other ways to make a template, if you're saying you're interested in a PSU store.
I for one of the sellers use the csv file to list on alternative sites, so I export my inventory, then copy/paste into the format needed by the csv files for the auction site bulk listers.
Carol,
This bulk lister isn't even close to the alternative site bulk listers. It works well. In the back end of the store, where you import your file, you can also choose a field enclosure character, so that if you use commas in your description and/or title, it doesn't get all messed up. You can also opt for a different delimiter if you want. It works, trust me...the queen bee bulk lister breaker....bahahahahaha! :D
