Posting a craigslist ad is free for most categories right now, but this last week a feature popped up that shows $0.00 for your fee to post an ad....
Is this just to remind the poster they are getting something for free, or is it to be used to bill the poster in the near future?
I know they currently do charge for some types of ads, but i have never seen that provision on the free ads.... |

| I noticed this on some of the ads I posted yesterday. I too wonder if pay to post is on the horizon. Frankly, I think pay to post on CL would bring in more sellers because I worry I post too many listings and look silly. Therefore, if it becomes more of a pay to list site and they develop sitewide search capabilities with a special box to click whether or not you are willing to ship stuff, I'd be more prone to use it for my sales. Just my opinion though. |

| With eBay's latest announcement, that they plan to buy up the rest of the free world and own the internet, management over there probably figures that eBay will Buy the other 75% of CL.. (and eBay doesnt give away anything for Free!) |

| I don't think that ebay would buy up CL. Like Microsoft, they don't want apple to fold, and from what I have heard, they shell out money to Apple so they won't fold. |
