|
|
When Meg Whitman takes the stage tonight at the Republican National Convention, it will mark a whirlwind journey from eBay's leader to the inner-circle of presidential politics.
She joined John McCain's campaign in spring and quickly became a key advisor to GOP presidential candidate, who recently called her one of the three wisest people he knows. She found her name moving up lists of possible vice presidential candidates. And she even made Jay Leno's monologue. The comedian deadpanned last week that Whitman would be a good vice presidential pick: "You know, she's an expert at selling Americans really old stuff."
Her 10-minute speech during primetime tonight is her biggest opportunity yet to make the leap from CEO to a political force — and if successful, it can boost her own possible run for office.

| I'm not sure she made a big impression with her speech. Didn't look like she was getting the crowd fired up very well. I watched her speech and can't say I remember anything she said. |

What a 2-faced liar. Meg started all the changes that sent eB on the downward spiral. It started at least as far back as 05. I don't think D was even with eB then.

Meg was a problem. JD is a real problem if you sell on ebay. LOL.
If anyone is serious about selling on the internet they need to setup an ecommerce website. The only way to fly. LOL. |
