|
|
Hello everyone, I am in process of setting up my ecrater store, adding products, etc, and I also am interested in setting up blujay store.
I like it because there are no fees/listing charges/selling charges, etc.
Have never sold on bj before, would like input from folks that have sold there. What kinds of things do you sell? I looked on bj site, but could not find out how long they have been going for. I always like to know how long a store/company/business/free store site has been in business for.
Does anyone know?
Any info would be appreciated. I am trying to put my "eggs in more than one basket" as it were; I have my primary website, just started ecrater store, and am interested in blujay as well.
Also does anyone know of addtional quality stores like blujay and ecrater that offer free store setups that you have had success with?
Thank you for your help.
Ann. |

Wouldn't hurt to list a few things there to get the
hang of the site.
I still think Blujay is a nice site.
It's free right? :?:
Also free stores at buyitsellit.com |

| The most important thing to be aware of with Blujay is that the site gets NO exposure in the main Google search. That is a huge disadvantage for sellers to overcome. BuyItSellIt, Atomic Mall, and Bonanzle are sites that get excellent Google exposure and also have no upfront costs. |

blujay site in bad shape right now. Stores do not show well in Google and keep getting tossed out of their search.
sellers are leving there very fast. forums are in a state of war.
sellers getting much better sales records at Bonanzle and AtomicMall.
Go read the bird forum for yourself. one moderator quit there tonight
Most people that respond to your post here will be old time sellers on the bird site and will not tell whole truth.
moderators hack into peopl stores, moderators get caught with multiple id's when it's against rules. and bunch of other bad stuff
site could be nice, but in trouble right nowm maybe wise to set up somewhere else and kep eye on the bird to see what hapen |

| I have been on Blujay almost a year now and sales are very slow. The people that boast about all their sales are advertising their stores constantly and join lots of selling groups and work at it 24/7 !! Surprisingly our items will show up now and again in Google shopping, but it isn't consistant...there one day gone the next. Blujay has a great set up and is very user and buyer friendly, but sales are pretty slim for most. BISI has proven to be the best site for me over the past few months, I am still getting it stocked and looking for it to soar through the holiday shopping season. |

Thank you everyone for all your thots, ideas and perspectives re. selling on blujay.
I am a little confused as it looks like there are mixed reactions to blujay; some find it very good, others not so good. So I gather it is a try it out and see how it goes thing. Can't miss, cause it is free....
However, as they say "time is money," so I don't want to spend time listing etc at a site that isn't going to be profitable either. Buyitsellit and bonanzle sound interesting, will check them out another day.
Thank you all again, I sure appreiciate psu and everyone here! Glad I found psu sev years ago, actually came across it by accident, was looking for something else on web, happened to see psu mentioned in someones forum post on another site or something.
Anyway, thankyou all.

If you realy want to check blujay out go read through other posts here in other threads than this one you made. read through forums at blujay.they are big time mess right now. and don't just read one or two posts, go into them everywhere
many sellers not happy there because of big problem with gogle and big time censorship in forums now. moderators becoming very corrupt not holding up site rules at all. makeing own up as they go.
other posters right owners not take care of site at all. lot of members screaming for them to come say whats hapening and no answer from them at all. best to check out other places. free aint always a good thing, and plenty other sites free and someone there to help.keep eye on blujay and if change maybe try then
luck wherever you go |

Blujay works well as far as getting sales, as long as you realize the store is yours and you need to plug it.
Very user friendly to set up the store and list items.
As far as the forums go, they are very useful for honest needed help.
They have a promo spot at bottom to plug your items.
I'm so glad the forums are being moderated now!
The trash going on there from people who don't even seem to be selling,
but just want to spend all day grousing is such a waste of time, and has nothing to do with how you sell at Blujay.
If the bashers would spend a fraction of the time, they spend on grousing and bashing,
on just plugging their items
they would have sales. |
