I created a lens to discuss blujay--if you have either positive or negative things to say then come on by and support blujay or not if you choose.

I support blujay but I'm not going to lie to people an tell them that all is rosy when it is not

Hey Dragon you don't go onto the Blujay Forums anymore? How come?

Are you only at Blujay or did you expand?

I used to love the site...but although I still have a store there, I am so disapointed in the owners hands off approach and the forums are a mess!

Too bad.... it could have been great!

With the Good, newer sites......(that have owners that care and are nuturing their babies)... that are now on the PSU boards,
I predict Blujays numbers will be falling.....

Hey Ren, yes very true. I felt the same way. When I signed up two years ago, I was ready to go. Then the owner dropped out of sight and that was the beginning of the end. These other sites I sell on, they have owners that are around and answer your emails, etc. Thats a Great feeling to know your emails are being read.

I was very happy to stumble upon blujay in 2006 and then a friend I met online said Give Blujay a try. I loved it, those feeling have dimenished.
But thank god other sites are around for us. I am a diehard online seller so I will always find a home somewhere.

Good luck to you at Bonanzle.

Jcut, I do visit but with all of the mess there I don't post. seems to be a waste of time to post anything there especially when it has a good chance of being deleted.
I have only one store, and lately i have had a person nibbling but I am not sure as to their intentions because of how they are going about it.

Yeah I know what you mean. I post in the Forums, but most of them also get deleted. If you post any truth there, they hate you. So most of mine are deleted.

Are you selling anywhere else? You have to try all other avenues. I am sure you will be successful at other places. I remember when you first joined Blujay. I registered there two years ago, Sales are not good for me there, but I have my store open. Figured it took me almost a year to stock it, I just go there to delete things that sell from my other stores.

I wish you luck in whatever you do. Hopefully you will get some sales soon. Take care!

Hello everyone, here's my two cents worth re. blujay.....
I built my store about a month ago, and am in process of stocking, along with a hundred other things I am doing, lol!

Anyway, I really like the easy setup, and editing processes, nice format, ez to build your store.

Haven't had any sales yet, but I realize it takes awhile, and am willing to be patient and persistent.

I have had good experiences so far in the bj forums.
The posts I've made have been mainly to ask questions about the different processes involved in building/stocking my store, etc.
People have been very kind and helpful.

As far as the other bj forum stuff, the negative stuff, I stay out of that, and don't contribute to it.
When I was over at bj forums tonite, there was sadly a whole page of spamming inapropriate stuff; seems like it is in proces of being deleted, the spamming stuff I mean.

Anyway, so far I am enjoying bj.

Thanks for starting this post dragonfire! Great idea.

Also, I would love to hear more peoples success stories with bj selling.

Ann.

Well, I have had pretty good success at blujay. I would ask on the blujay boards this question as well and get an overall view, some don't sell much due to lack of promoting, saturation of the market, or the site just doesn't work for them. Some have great sales, some have ok/consistent sales. I work my rear off promoting everywhere so I do what I consider very good for my small store. In december alone I sold over 20 items and took my inventory from over 200 items to 180 something on about 10 different invoices with some being multiple item sales. I sell old video games only by the way.

In regards to the spamming, there unfortunately is that going on over there but if the info from the mod or mods, I can't remember exactly it is posted in the lounge, is accurate Admin yesterday evening asked for info to be sent to him, maybe that will help out but it's about time.

BluJay works for me, sales are there on a steady basis, so I'm a happy camper.
I don't mess with the forums, but to welcome some new seller, or put my plug once a day in promos.
The forums don't make my sales, my promoting myself make the sales for me.
It's a good site to sell at and exceptionally user friendly,

IF it is true (highly suspect coming from the mods themselves ) saying admin REQUESTED the MODS themselves and KNOWING that mods have the ability to change and edit and send only what supports their view then if he requested info from the mods to LEARN then that may be a problem with admins overall thinking ability which could translate into less success for sellers.

now these mods have left many of their VINDICTIVENESS that they do in over half of their posts. if admin reads these then if he has any sense he will know the big harm to blujay

vindictive and unfair mods will INCREASE the harm to blujay all across the internet so a ban of members will NOT help the harm to blujay

this is a test of blujays admin wisdom and all sellers NEED a wise admin for success

Everyone meet who is probably Goldjewelry. Trackerklm. Now see what he posts here and visit what kind of stuff he says on the blujay forums. Over the last few weeks he has probably logged on 3 hours at a minimum a day average posting repetitively the same thing. I have heard from several that in a 3 day time posted over 40 hours worth of repetitive posts. That is considered spam and trolling. Glad I turned down a moderator position this time around at Blujay, I don't have that much time to try to control a serial poster and/or the patience.

Hello everyone, glad to hear some positive perspectives about blujay.

Classic and Justjoans, congrats on your sales!
What kinds of ways do you promote your bj store?

Justjoans, what kinds of things do you find are selling well for you?

Thankyou.

Ann.
