Mod Grape was saying this about Bonanzle? Well there is no competition from Bonanzle to Blujay.

I do believe Bonanzle has staff, which is lacking with Poor Old blujay. You can email the Owner till your Face is Blue and you will NOT hear back from him. So with that, Bonanzle is on top. I also hear sales are Happening there. Glad to know this.

I seriously doubt that anyone in an official status at Bonanzle emailed anyone at BluJay. Mod-grape should call herself Sour_grape.

She has ammended her post to say that a member of Bonanzle sent her the email.

Just a comment -- GoldJewelry -- the Blujay member she mentions, is a well known person that has gone by numerous IDs here at PSU. His rambling, sometimes incoherant posts have gotten him banned here several times.

I don't know if he has added Bonanzle to the places he sells at, but over the weekend he posted in the Bonanzle thread. What shocked me was that for the most part I actually agreed with him.

What I was trying to figure out was why in the world a "mod" would even put such a thing in a forum for all to read. She is trying discredit other sites to make Blujay look better is all I can figure. Oh and Carol speaking of trolls...who can figure out who is who around there! And yes Cuff Sour Grapes! :lol: Blujay could be a great site if given the right care, but unfortunately the owner handed out badges and then got the hell outta Dodge!

All I can say about Blujay and Its Ugg Central is WHAT A MESS! Not only is the Owner gone, the site has 4600 Ugg Boots that have been listed lately.

I think this is a Problem within itself. Anyone can list and rip people off using the Blujay Site, since the Owner doesn't tend to shop.

Its the same old thing, just a different month. I sure wish the Owner would either Clean it up or Fold it up! The Forums Need to Go.

Personally I have only gone to the BJ boards once in the last year or so and that was because I had a problem.

I just happen to know about GoldJewelry and who he is here because I had a big problem with him picking on me about 18 months ago. I had heard he was disrupting the BJ forums, but never went to check it out.

He does get 'off the deep end' at times and at other times he can have some good points. While I haven't been most of the threads he's been posting in lately, he did post some decent info in the Bonanzle thread this weekend.

Over all, it's too bad that Blujay has become a site without a 'rudder' as it has been a good site for me for sales.

I saw those Ugg boots the other day and wondered about them. I hope BJ doesn't deteriorate into a Chinese fake site like iOffer has become. It just kills a site's reputation to have all that kind of stuff.

I know, thats exactly My Point. I am always seeing the Uggs on the front page. Do a quick search at Blujay and you will come up with approx. 4600 Pair of the Ugg Boots. Thats alot wouldn't ya say???

Yes Been there did that with Ioffer too. I signed up with Ioffer in april 2004, it was a Fairly Decent site then. But now, OMG Fake everything there. Nothing wrong with Fake, but do the sellers actually ship the Fake item out? That is the Major Question. Since they are Coming From Far Far Away.

A person getting such a Good Deal on an Expensive item has to know they are Replicas. But I have read in the Blujay's Forum that they were NOT GETTING Their Uggs, so thats a Problem there.

GJ is really Harmless, he is really Mad At The Mods now, Can't say I blame him. I think all the unfairness at the Forums has got to stop. Go Check out the Forums now, The Mods don't know what to do at this Point. I say Quit the Volunteer job and let the owner take over.

looks certain that the person who was hollaring about the possible problem of hidden stuff at bonanzle is a mod at blujay.

what made that hollaring so bad was that many have gone to blu jay worrying about the private stuff they have they are the mother of all private companies and that guy showing he sells at blujay worrying about a site he does not sell on shows what he was TRYING to do. and USING that REASON which blujay has alot more of scary worries about a mystery owner.

good that some people caught what he was TRYING to do there.

I never thought about that, but it's a really good point too. I guess a related question might be, even if the seller IS shipping, is it possible fakes would get confiscated by customs ?? I don't know about individul items, but I believe customs DOES try to intercept the container shipments of that kind of stuff.

I was at iO just shortly after you, Feb 05, I think. But I never did make many sales there. The boards/clubs deteriorated there too and a few people had too much power and kind of killed that site just like the boards are a mess at BJ now too.

I guess that's 1 of the biggest problems with these eBay alt sites -- too many absentee owners.

There was another site I was a member of that turned into a porn-fest after it was found out the owner was AWOL.

Let that be a message to all alt site owners -- don't ignore your site or it will go in the tank. And once your reputation is gone, there is nothing left.

You can’t post anything in the forums at blujay anymore. The mods are sticking everything and you have to go to page 3 or more to get the most recent post. It’s a mess and I’m staying away from there. I’m embarrassed for being a part of blujay. No wonder why MM and everyone one else is leaving. GJ and his freak fake ID friends can have the forums. HAVE FUN!!!!

Tracker, oh are you talking about Mod Tang? I think that is what GJ was Referring to here. He was talking about something along the line of Tangerine CC Trying to say Negative Things about Bonanzle. Yes he is a Moderator At Blujay. Its just unfortunate that the Mods are All Speaking under Fake Fruit Names too. If they had to talk in their REAL NAMES They would really watch what they say.

A Person typing in a fake name can say just about anything they like and not have to worry about people really knowing who they are. I think the Fake Fruit Name was another one of Administrations Biggest Mistake. When he first did the Mod Thing at blujay, the name MODERATOR was below The Person's name, he changed that, and oh what a Mistake he made.

Ya know I have never bought anything out of our Country. I wonder if they do confiscate anything?

My Sister bought a Pair Of Uggs off of Ebay, they came from China, She got them yesterday. So I guess some things actually arrive from that far away, but I still think its a gamble either way. How can the Chinese tell if they are Fakes? At their Post Office..Funny Huh?

She felt safe buying them from Ebay since she paid thru paypal. Your Right Absent Owners make for Bad Business. I have to say I really find that odd, that someone would Create a Marketplace Website and then Just abandon it. Wouldn't it be alot easier to just close up shop? I would think so. Why make all the members mad? Doesn't make sense to me.
Unless its just a Money making thing and hes raking in the dough without any of the hard work that should of been done.
