my blujay stores are my main concern and just had 3 more great sales :)

Well, maybe some much needed house cleaning has begun.

Spring Cleaning could never come too early for those boards and the site itself.

It has loads of potential. Too bad the boards were running the site into the ground.

Was posting earlier there today. This morning couldn't log on for an hour or so and just right now couldn't. Unless you know something I don't, it's there but server is busy right now. The boards used to be real nice there but its really not worth the time to hang around the boards anymore and you know why as most Blujayers can see the destructive few that lounge around there with their own agendas and want to make it miserable for all the rest. Glad you are still selling well, kind of a slower Jan for me in comparison to December which I'll probably never sell that much in 1 month again at any alt site. At blujay, sold about 10 percent of my inventory in December. Always streaky for me there: 2 weeks no sales, then 5 sales in 1 week, etc but I always make sales there and don't need forums for that:)

I understand the license expired today. The selling license is supposed to expire in May.

The destructive few were the mods who deleted all posts that they didn't approve of.

How could a word game thread that was in place for months, with several thousand responses all of a sudden become unfit? Easy, spitefulness of one mod toward another member who didn't dance to the mods tune.

I for one am relieved that the forums there have been put out of their misery. It was such a shame that a few renegade power mongers took it down that path.

If the forums are truly done for then blujay is doomed. How is anyone supposed to get help when it's needed? How are the newbie’s going to get help?

yes, there have been some issues for weeks not being able to get to the forum

if there are server issues though -- isn't that something admin would need to get on top of?

that wont happen-- least not likely

Well good news for some but verified I could enter the forums as well right now. A lot of new people and sellers visit blujay forum board and I think it could be taxing the server, I've noticed this recently. Just speculation on my part. If they have used the same server and have almost doubled in the last year on listings which would mean a lot more users, maybe an upgrade/new server should be used, who knows? Admin isn't very talkative and doesn't move very fast on things as we all know but everything seems to be in order. Speculation like this happened last year as well, every time when the yearly renewal comes up, the same conversation occurs. Might be better if they did more than one year at a time, would cause less gloom and doom predictions that happen annually.

yes, classic that could be some reasons for the slowdown and trouble

but seems that it would affect the whole site and not just the forum -- and it doesn't

and today there was hardly any posting -- all day long -- it's still very dead over there

I am not a computer person -- but seems there shouldn't have been an overload today -- unless everyone was going there at the same time to see if it was still up

we all know that it would be less stressful for EVERYONE if admin would just post something once in awhile -- it wouldn't have to be a lot -- just a brief statement

it would stop a lot of the speculation for one thing

The forum and the store front are two separate domains. Two separate urls. Whatever happens to the forum has nothing to do with the store part.

well, if the site has more sellers/listings then it would make sense for it to have problems

but I don't see where the forum -- as of late has increased in traffic -- sure you have new people coming to say hi and ask questions-- that rotates as they come and go, many don't hang around -- but, there are a lot of people not posting like they once did -- for sometime general posting seems down -- cept for one prolific person -- and he wasn't on today -- which is odd in itself -- thought he would have been around with "the end is near" all day

I don't think the forum server problems has anything to do with increased traffic. I think the equipment is about ready to die.
