I found a tool online that repeatedly reports the offending post until it is removed.
Please use it responsibly, also you do need to have a browser window left open strickly for the use of the tool until it finishes becuase when you close the window it shuts the tools down.
I ran 8 windows at once a little while ago to chase off a spammer posting hundreds of ads that are virtually the same ad completely clogging 1 cat I was trying to find & buy something in.
There is also a limit to how many times it can be used for free in a day.
It tracks IP's not the actual computer so using multiple machines on a router will not bypass the maximim limit.

This will be helpful for the people who claim to be in the service and called to duty to defend our country so that have to get rid of their newer car with low mileage and in impeccible condition for pennies on the dollar. Oh by the way, they will have to have you send them the money and they will have the car shipped to you - right!
Those scumbags will go through any lengths to rip people off :x |

I think most of us here at PSU will be responsible if we use this tool & also the free use of this tool is limited.
Here in Los Angeles we have 4 Spamming Tires stores (massively Spamming) each posting hundreds of ads a day in the auto parts section. From the numbers I crunched on one day these 4 stores placed 97 percent of all ads in auto parts that day.
So only 3 percent of the ads posted were posted by other stores or private parties listing any auto parts & in those 3 percent there are other spammers as well. |

| My bf had a mechanic who was supposedly working on his car,my bf gave this guy like $800.00 to fix his car,he kept giving my bf the run around.he end up taking my bf $800.00 and my bf was telling me about the guy and he gave me his name and he was actually on craiglist trying to promote his business and my bf later found out he isn't the first person he scammed.so I think the tool will be very helpful if they get these bad seeds off the site. |

Oh my!
Perhaps craigslist should find a way to stop the automated ads. |

I find there're too many spam ads on Craigslist, which make the site seems not clean and not trustful |

| they need to find a way to keep the scam "buyers" off CL. My gf has had more of those people reply then real buyers when she tries to sell stuff. |

I've had ads on CL that have been deleted just because someone took the liberty to flag everything in Colorado.
I use it for bigger farm type items and such that can't be shipped...
No, I don't need the money so don't spam me :) |

When Craigslist gets hits with a rash of spam, they start instituting telephone verification.
That way, if you violate one of their guidelines, they simply ban your telephone number and you're blocked from using them again.
Until you get a new phone number that is. |

When I run ads on CL, I don't use the email address they provide.
I have the interested parties call me. |
