Hi Guys
New to online selling and have bought and installed this plugin for virtuemart. I have it all installed and am doing the set up of google checkout. I have got to this stage:
Set "API callback URL:" https://<your>/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/payment/googlecheckout/callback/responsehandler_gc.php
NOTE: You will need to update your API callback URL if you are upgrading from version 2.0
Can someone give me some guidance on how to get a secure url?
Many thanks

If it is what I think it is it is not asking for your certificate, it is asking for the address of the file that has been loaded into your store, which has to be addressed https as google demand you have an SSL certificate.
The section where it says <your> is where you add in the address line to your store file, which will be something like yoursite.com/file name/ The rest should be right as it is leading to a PHP file that comes with the virtuemart files you uploaded. But you need the path that leads to your store file on the server. Checkout your FTP path if you are unsure what the file path is.
If this is a PSU store problem you do have your own forum to ask questions if you need it.
They are normally faster to answer than us mere mortals, and understand the systems more.
Edited
Sorry went looking for the links and got side tracked but PRG is right you could get it from your server host or if you search google for SSL certificates, then you may find a better deal.
The links I was looking for where you may get more info.
For virtuemart forum On here
For PSU stores help forum On here, and you need to have a PSU store to enter this one. |

| I would guess that ones host might be a good place to get information about installing a security certificate on ones site. |

| Your host would have to install it but you or host needs to get one somewhere. I think godaddy is about 30 dollars. May be some cheaper though. |
